President Donald Trump declared Tuesday’s Ohio midterm elections a Republican victory and expects more victories in November.
Republican Troy Balderson currently trails Democrat Danny O’Connor in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District by less than 2,000 votes. The race is still too close to call, and Balderson has not been officially declared the winner.
When I decided to go to Ohio for Troy Balderson, he was losing in early voting 64-36. That was not good. After my speech Saturday night, there was a substantial turnaround for the better. Now Troy is winning substantial at a very challenging time of year to vote. He will win BIG in November.

As long as I campaign and/or support Senate and House candidates (within reason), they will win! I LOVE people, and they certainly seem to enjoy the work I do. If I can find the time, between China, Iran, the economy, and the many other things I have to do, we will have a giant red wave!

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel credited President Trump with contributing to Balderson’s apparent victory following his visit to a key Ohio district last weekend.
.@GOPChairwoman: “@POTUS came. He had a rally in Delaware County, which was a key county, last night, and that caused @Troy_Balderson We exceeded expectations and won last night in this extremely important district.” photo:twitter.com/amCA4lDmnT

In addition to Balderson in Ohio, the president also boasted about primary victories for other candidates he supported.
Congratulations to the future STAR of the Republican Party, future Senator John James. A substantial and bold victory tonight in the Great State of Michigan – the first of many. November can’t come soon enough!
