Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles on Tuesday introduced articles of impeachment against Vice President Kamala Harris, according to Olivia Beavers from Politico.
The articles charged Harris with “high crimes and misdemeanors,” stating that she “willfully and systematically refused to comply with federal immigration laws because: in her conduct in the Office of the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Devi Harris… willfully obstructed, hindered, and impeded the administration of justice.”
They further claim that Harris “demonstrated extraordinary incompetence in the performance of her duties.”
Ogles’ articles came days after President Joe Biden announced he would not seek reelection, with Harris emerging as the likely Democratic nominee.
