I agree with many Ohioans who have contacted me. At this critical moment, our full attention must return to these vital issues. I think the president should end his campaign. photo:twitter.com/dwKMZJzMfu

“Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard from Ohioans about important issues like how to continue to create jobs in our state, provide law enforcement with resources to crack down on fentanyl, protect Social Security and Medicare from cuts, and prevent ongoing efforts to enact a national abortion ban. These are the issues that Ohioans care about, and it’s my job to continue to fight for them,” Brown said.
“I agree with many Ohioans who have reached out to me. At this critical moment, our full attention must return to these important issues. I think the president should end his campaign,” Brown added.
Brown, who is running for re-election himself this year, joins more than 30 Democratic lawmakers who have called on Biden to postpone his re-election bid following his disastrous performance during last month’s presidential debate with Republican presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump.
Shortly after Brown called on Biden to end his re-election bid, the Ohio Republican Party demanded that the sitting U.S. senator answer whether he believes Biden should resign from the presidency.
Make no mistake, @SherrodBrown has long known that Joe Biden is unfit for the job, but Brown lied and hid the truth about his degenerating cognitive function.
Sherrod must answer if @JoeBiden should resign as president or will Democrats continue to put our country at risk?

Brown’s call for Biden to end his reelection campaign was anticipated last week by Tom Zawistowski, chairman of the Ohio-based We the People convention, who said the Democratic incumbent would “remove Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee in order to save his own chance at reelection to the U.S. Senate.”
“What’s really going on here, folks, is not that these Democrats are worried about winning the presidency. They’re worried about saving their own skin. Sherrod Brown is not going to come out and say he supports Joe Biden,” Zawistowski said. he said last week during the episode Michael Patrick Leahy Show.
If you cared about our country, instead of just protecting your job, you would demand that Biden resign from the presidency! Biden is a threat to national security! You, Sherrod Brown, have known this since 2020 and said nothing! Worse, you lied to your voters to cover for Biden! You are… https://t.co/i9SGnp5nWe

“Biden is a threat to national security! You, Sherrod Brown, have known this since 2020 and said nothing! Worse, you lied to your constituents to cover for Biden! You are a disgrace to your office and to the people of Ohio! You should end YOUR campaign,” Zawistowski added.
