Monday’s poll shows former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden in five key battleground states in head-to-head battles ahead of the November rematch and has gained popularity among Black and Latino voters.
Trump is next Biden by 13 points among likely voters in Nevada, as well as by nine points in Georgia, six points in Arizona, three points in Pennsylvania and one point in Wisconsin, According to according to the latest New York Times/Siena College study. Biden leads in only one state, Michigan, by 47-45%.
Additionally, a survey found that Trump narrowed his lead with Biden among two key voting blocs that Democrats typically win by huge margins – blacks and Latinos. In six swing states, Biden leads Trump 70 to 18 percent among black voters and 47 to 42 percent among Latino voters.
The margins are tighter than the previous NYT/Siena College case vote the same battleground states as well as in exit polls from the 2020 election. Biden won Black and Latino voters by 75 and 33 points, respectively According to for Edison’s research.
When independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is included in the poll. and other third-party candidates, Trump’s lead increases in Nevada, Arizona and Pennsylvania, while the former president’s lead remains the same in Wisconsin and declines by one point in Georgia. Biden’s lead in Michigan increased from one to three points.
Trump narrowly won Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in 2016, but lost them all to Biden in the next cycle. Nevada came in for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Biden in 2020.
While Trump bragged about leading in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Wisconsin, the poll showed GOP Senate candidates did not. Nevada Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen and Republican Sam Brown tied at 41 percent; Democratic Senator Bob Casey edged Republican David McCormick by two points; Democratic Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego led by three points over Republican Kari Lake; Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin led Republican Eric Hovde by seven points.

Individually, the study showed a margin of error of plus or minus 3.6 percent in Pennsylvania; in Arizona 4.2 percent; 4.5 percent in Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin; and 4.6 percent in Georgia.
Neither the Trump nor Biden campaigns immediately responded to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
