I mean, yes, it’s one vote, but a critical one in a state Democrats hope to win back in 2020. Ohio has long been a state that has typically delivered GOP victories. George Will, longtime columnist ” Washington Post, correctly noted that the senior GOP plan was to take the South, Midwest and West, then spend the equivalent of Brazil’s GDP and take Ohio. Barack Obama changed all that, but I digress. In 2016, Trump easily won Ohio, with support from some Obama voters.
Last week was the loudest with the participation of Democrats, who organized a convention under the slogan: they are pissed and it’s Trump’s fault. America is a racist nation. Voting Democrat will erase all of this. They really think we are This stupid.
On the evening of one of the Republican Party conventions, you heard from everyday people discussing the trials and tribulations of gun violence, health care, and compact business ownership. This was not an elite star. These were ordinary Americans. The first evening began by honoring America and emphasizing the possibilities that come with difficult work and determination. You should be proud to be an American. This wasn’t a bass fest.

For one Ohio Democrat, Rick of Lorain, switching parties has been enough for his entire life. He stated on C-SPAN that he would vote Republican after Monday night. One of the main reasons was the GOP’s appeal to God.
“I was really moved by how many times they used the word ‘God.’ They put God into everything, and the people on the Democratic side… acted like they were pushing God out of it,” he said.
When asked if he was a union employee, Rick replied that he was not. He happened to be a resident of Lorain, a Democratic stronghold. In 2016, Hillary Clinton was feeling unwell. But in January, even union workers seemed to be lining up behind Trump:
