Millions of Americans are recovering after the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Death and destruction reported from Big Bend in Florida by Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
Over 130 people were killed – and the first respondents are trying to reach orphaned survivors. Hundreds of roads and bridges were washed away.
The diminutive town of Chimney Rock was literally switched – a popular tourist place – the city became renowned in two films – the last of Mohicans and Dirty Dancing.
President Biden told journalists that there is nothing more that he could do for the inhabitants of Western North Carolina.
Reporter: “Do you have any words for hurricane victims?”
Biden: “We gave everything we have.”
Reporter “Are there any resources that the federal government can give them?”
Biden: “No.”
In other words, Americans who live in the hills and empty places around Asheville are alone.
The cities completely rubbed off the surface of the earth. It may pass for weeks before the water is restored. About 250,000 people are in the shadowy. Most of the roads were destroyed. Paused bridges.
But the worst will still come. My sources tell me that the last number of fatalities will be stunning. There are bodies everywhere – floating in the fields of debris and buried in the mud.
This is a contemporary apocalypse.
And yet President Biden spent the weekend on the beach, and his vice president disrupted himself with wealthy and known donors.
The Harris campaign was aware of Bad Optics – so they organized a hurriedly photographed scene that allegedly showed Harris on the phone from FEM – organizing the disaster relief.
But clever observers noticed a few peculiarities with a photo. How could Harris talk to FEMA when her headphones were not connected to her smartphone? And all the notes he supposedly takes – there was nothing but empty pages on the table.
While President Biden mumbled that he was not able to do anything else for the inhabitants of North Carolina and other states – President Trump took immediate action. He provided Valdosta’s needed supplies in Georgia. He led the nation at a time of still prayer. And he said it’s time to postpone the policy for the greater good.
“For every family who was resettled here in Georgia, in North Carolina and in the whole region, our hearts are with you at this hour,” said Trump. “You are in our prayers today and for all long weeks that we are ahead of us. We love you – we are with you – and we will come back again and again …
In other words – President Trump behaved as president.
Five days later and many cities have not yet seen any relief in the case of disasters – by the way they are paid by difficult -working taxpayers in places such as Western North Carolina.
Democrats sent hundreds of millions of dollars to Ukraine. They are aimed at the needs of millions of illegal, but when Americans need facilitate, nobody in FEMA responds to the phone.
Why is it? Maybe because this part of the country is full of republican voters. Who knows
It turns out that the highest priority of FEMA is not to facilitate the disaster. The government agency said that their goal is to actually vaccinate capital as the basis for crisis management. It is there on the Dot Gov website.
In other words, relief in the case of disasters depends on the diversity, equality and inclusion. So, unless you have preferred pronouns, painted spray on the side of the immersed house-you can not get a penny from your uncle alone.
Like in Eastern Palestine, Ohio – good people from Western North Carolina may be too conservative and too Caucasian for fema to worry.
