This is a reality that still baffles us today. There are media factions that fully support the practice of blocking freedom of expression. At the last minute, the Washington Post receives a long article lamenting the fact that Republicans have managed to successfully oppose news sources that seek to limit what is allowed in communication in this country and on the Internet.
Without any introspection, WaPo finds it inappropriate that GOP members have managed to get some of these organizations to withdraw or even shut down some organizations that have chosen to stifle speech. This opening alone should make you smile:

It was in early August when we wrote that the press was in a frenzy when it was reported that the “chief financier” of the film “The Sound of Freedom” had been arrested for child kidnapping, a direct violation of the film’s core values.
Except that Fabian Marta only donated a few hundred dollars to the crowdfunding campaign, she was arrested as an accessory, and even the fact that the children were kidnapped was questionable because it was his tenant with his own children. Well, now it turns out that Martha was cleared because the grand jury declined to indict him and the charges against him were dropped.

Hoping to sow discontent among presidential candidates, USA Today looked at the polls and tried to find a way to put an alternative to President Biden or Donald Trump on the ballot in 2024. It conducted a survey that found that nearly a quarter of voters looked elsewhere for another candidate:
A June USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll found that in a potential rematch between the two current frontrunners, 34% of voters said they would support Biden and 32% said they would support Trump. Meanwhile, 23% of voters say they will support an unspecified independent candidate.
The aim of the article was therefore to examine this core group and see where alternatives might be favored. Funnily enough, names like Robert Kennedy Jr. were not left out. or any other proven Republican Party candidate. Instead we see names like Will Hurd, Elizabeth Warren and (we swear it’s true) Liz Cheney.
What’s even more absurd is that for each of the names mentioned, ONE person was found to support that person.

Presentation paradox – WASHINGTON POST OFFICE
Philip Bump is having a terrible time supporting Joe Biden amid mounting allegations. In the latest Mr. Bump saw Fox News excerpt in which Brian Kilmeade interviewed former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko. And then he excitedly claims that this appearance undermines the network’s claims that last month it interviewed his nemesis in previous scandals, prosecutor Viktor Shokin:
The news is that Fox, which has been a vital platform for all the baseless allegations from Comer and his allies, accidentally stepped on its own news.
Well, no, Philip. You have the words of two people who shared their impressions on this matter. See, what pisses you off is that you see a network offering to cover both sides of the issue in the form of interviews with the people involved from any perspective. It seems understandable that this type of journalism is a foreign concept.
About a month ago, Fox gave airtime to a fired Ukrainian prosecutor who made unbelievable claims about Joe Biden.
