Tim Walz Drops Into Soros’ House for Fundraiser

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz held a fundraiser at Alex Soros’ home on Monday, according to a report.

The fundraiser was held at the Manhattan home of Alex Soros and his wife, former top aide to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin. According to to The New York Times. The Wall Street Journal reported in June 2023, Alex Soros took over the philanthropic and political empires built by his father, George Soros.

“I’m more political,” the younger Soros told the WSJ in 2023, comparing himself to his father. “As much as I’d like to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we’re going to have to do it, too.”

The reports did not reveal who attended Walz’s fundraiser at Soros’ home or how much was raised. Harris’ campaign did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Alex Soros has indeed been politically dynamic since taking over from his father, remission millions to political action committees aimed at helping Democrats win elections and expanding abortion access through his Democracy PAC.
