The mainstream media has been pursuing Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who is also the chair of the House Republican Conference, for some time. After all, that’s what they’re doing to the Republican Party. However, the latest attacks were particularly merciless, as they claimed that the congresswoman wanted babies without formula to go hungry and that she was even to blame for the tragic shooting in Buffalo.
The Washington Post played significant role IN claiming that a September 2021 Facebook ad espoused the replacement theory and is responsible for the Buffalo shooting that occurred at a supermarket in a predominantly Black neighborhood.
The Lincoln Project and people associated with the group have tweeted extensively about Stefanik in recent weeks. But on Monday, they made up their mind, releasing an ad against her, which is now a pinned tweet from the group.
The ad refers to Stefanik as “climbing” and “ruthless” and calls her a backstabber, even claiming she has a “plan” to replace House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-N.A.) position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. This “plan” apparently involves “becoming the leader of ultra MAGA, GOP, QANON, pedophiles, conspiracies and hate.”
.@PwcUS, @HomeDepotAND @AltriaNews Your donations to @EliseStefanik helped create its ads, promoting vile “Great Replacement” conspiracy theories.
Are you going to continue to fund this hateful propaganda that has cost American lives in Buffalo? pic.twitter.com/iX50o8hQTH

He even attacks Stefanik’s donors, including PwC, Home Depot, and Altria, and then claims that Stefanik uses those donations to run ads like the Facebook ad mentioned above. The narrator then moves on to link Stefanik more directly to the shooting. “Buffalo paid in blood for the white replacement theory [Stefanik] promotes power. Elise doesn’t care and won’t stop selling racial hatred. There is a word for Elise Stefanik: evil.”
Last year, the Lincoln Project intimidated other donors in a similar way it did to Toyota in July.
What’s particularly telling is that the Lincoln Project accused a sitting member of Congress involved in the leadership of the House of Representatives of being associated with pedophiles. The group’s co-founder, John Weaver, was accused of soliciting male trainees, including minors.
Greg Sargent who now writes hit columns against Stefanik he promoted advertising for two weeks in a row and his article on this topic extensively on Twitter.
The Lincoln Project is set to run more ads against Republicans who flirt with the Great Replacement theory and try to drive a wedge between them and corporate donors.

No matter how difficult Great Replacement apologists try to dismiss it, the way Elise Stefanik peddled this theory is indefensible:https://t.co/fzueIWOEyn pic.twitter.com/69X660AFDq

In a statement to Townhall, senior adviser Alex DeGrassse noted that “Congresswoman Stefanik remains focused on delivering real results to her constituents to address crushing inflation, skyrocketing energy prices, and record crime in New York State.”
DeGrasse also attacked the Lincoln Project and Democratic candidates running to unseat Rep. Stefanik.
“Democratic candidates across the country are asking that the vicious Never Trump Lincoln Project, funded by Hollywood leftists, not engage in their districts because they know that the deranged group of Far Left radicals was founded by a Confederate sympathizer and known sexual predator who preyed on teenage boys; however, Far Left Democratic Candidates Matt Castelli and Matt Putorti are so desperate that they happily accept the involvement of this Never Trump group that faked the KKK rally,” he said. “Every voter in her district knows that this ad is the latest in desperate filth and lies and that it will backfire, just like every other demented and vile ad that the pedophile crooks at Never Trump have run in our district and across America.”
But considering the failure for which the Lincoln Project is renowned, Matt Castelli and Matt Putorti must be really desperate.
The organization has had enough lost record when it comes to U.S. Senate races, but also last year in races across the state of Virginia. Last October, shortly before the November election, the group took part in a bizarre act reminiscent of the Charlottesville unite-the-right rally. People wearing khaki pants and white shirts with tiki torches, including a woman and a black man, claimed to support Glenn Youngkin. The Lincoln design later gained recognition that same night.
The Lincoln Project also had one released an ad claiming that Youngkin was opposed to critical race theory (CRT) and made it such a major issue in the campaign because he wanted to refer to black people using racial slurs.
Youngkin defeated former Gov. Terry McAuliffe.
In the upcoming midterm races, Lincoln Project will enter the Ohio Senate race pitting J.D. Vance against Tim Ryan. Even Ryan’s communications director the group pleaded to not take part in the race.
