The so -called “abuse of power” of the accusation of Governor of Texas Rick Perry will not only hurt him in the GOP 2016 lottery, but he can aid him. I say that because Perry immediately fired without hesitation for the allegations, marking the indictment of the partisan political trick, which he really is. And in terms of the threat of vetos the provisions that would finance the state public integrity unit, led by the District Prosecutor of Travis Rosemary Lehmberg, Perry submitted his constitutional land. In many TV performances, Perry not only said that he was legally authorized to reject the prosecutor, but that he would do it again if he had a chance.
As John Fund wrote on the National Review website, there is the whole story of the Liberal Office of the Liberal Ferris of Travis Ferrings, which unsuccessfully tries to criminalize the policy with the act of accusations of the great Jura. None of them worked earlier and is very unlikely that it works again. Even liberals such as David Axelrod, Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz basically said that the prosecutor has virtually no case. Remove it in the vote card.
Returning to the implication of this event in 2016, as I said, Perry looked strong and firm in a quick response to the indictment. But he has done a lot lately. Perry gained high ratings for placing the Texas National Guard on the American-Metican border to stop the catastrophic flood of children without care from Central America. He successfully ran a campaign in Iów to choose Joni Ernst. Over the past year and a half, he has toured around the country with his pro-growing, pro-Business, “Texas model” with low taxes, deregulation and reform of annoying acts of frivolous law. And the companies won: companies move to Texas, where the business climate is much more hospitable than in New York, Illinois or California.
And Perry is not ashamed of his album: in a very clever political marketing campaign, when Perry enters the states of high tax with needy business achievements, his team conducts television and radio advertising with a clear message of the governor about attracting companies to Texas.
All this gradually erases memories of the unsuccessful presidential campaign of the governor in 2012. It was a failure because he was just coming out of surgery. He shouldn’t run above all. But to be candid, Perry wasn’t up to date with many key problems.
But it was then and it is now.
At a time when the country wants strong managerial leadership in the country and abroad, and with the fall of the approval by Barack Obama on both fronts of Perry looks like a strong leader.
Now let me explain this: I do not support anyone for 2016. I know the governor of Perry and I admire him very much. But the same applies to Scott Walker in Wisconsin, Mike Pence in Indiana, John Kasich in Ohio, Jeb Bush and others. I do not take a position. It’s much too early.
But I will say it: this time GOP has a deep bench. And GOP-GOP-GOBERNATORS, really-have a strong economic message of the “Red State”. And after almost six years of sowing Obama’s business, in which more election campaign will appear, the message in Texas in Red-State will be a huge relief for voters who strongly believe that the US is heading in the wrong direction.
I do not make a choice. But even with this crazy indictment, Perry will remain able for him for 2016.
