“She doesn’t work for Biden.”

Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) isn’t shy about showing her lack of support for President Joe Biden. Like several other Democrats, her position on her party’s leadership has changed significantly ahead of November’s midterm elections.

In the novel one campaign advertising, Kaptur appears to be distancing himself from Biden, saying he “does not work for Joe Biden. He works for you.”

She criticized the Biden administration for sleeping with China and vowed to “fight back” by working with Republicans to protect Ohio.

“Joe Biden is allowing China to undercut solar producers in Ohio, but Marcy Kaptur opposes working with Republican Rob Portman to protect our jobs.

Kaptur also sharply criticized his Republican opponent, saying: “Communist China is not happy and neither is extremist JR Majewski. He opposes all of Marcy’s energy plans above. Majewski has allowed Ohio energy jobs to die out.”

During the 30-second ad, the Democrat attacked Biden for his bad policies as his approval rating continues to decline.

Not long ago, Kaptur praised Biden. Just a few weeks ago, Biden greeted her with a kiss on the hand as she greeted him during a July visit to Ohio.

She praised him for protecting state pensions under the president’s American Rescue Plan, calling it a “promise” to American voters and part of the “American Dream.”

Hood isn’t the only person separating herself from Biden. Top House Democrats avoided having to answer the question of whether they would support the president if he plans to run for re-election in 2024.

Reps. Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) dodged questions about their so-called support for him, while Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) also wouldn’t commit to supporting Biden for his re-election.
