Former President Trump arrived in Ohio to an excited and America-loving crowd where he defended fellow Republican JD Vance.
Calling Vance “an incredible patriot who will fight Biden and the radical leftist media every day,” Trump praised the candidate for wanting to build the country back up.
“We are a nation that has lost its way… but we will soon be a great nation again… it is hard-working patriots like you who built this country and it is hard-working patriots like you who will save our country. We will stand up to the radical leftist lunatics and the RINOS and we will fight for America like no one has ever fought before. So with the help of everyone here today and citizens across our country, we will make America great again,” Trump said.
Trump criticized Vance’s opponent, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), saying he is an “anti-energy extremist.”
During his nearly two-hour speech, Trump also criticized the Biden administration and what it has done to the nation, destroying American dreams.
“There’s a lot of bad news for our country, but there’s also a lot of hope,” Trump said, adding: “We need hope, we need competence, because we certainly haven’t had it in two years.”
The former president also spoke about how many times the Democratic Party tried to destroy him, but Trump emphasized that he will never stop fighting for Americans.
“For six years in a row, I have been harassed, investigated, slandered, smeared and persecuted like no other president … and yet all I have ever wanted, all we have ever fought for, is simply — very simply — to make America great again,” Trump said, adding that the left “will never make me stop fighting for you, the American people.”
Trump lashed out at the “bullies and tyrants” (Democrats) who have viciously attacked Trump and his supporters, saying that “there has never been a movement in the history of the United States that even comes close to waking a sleeping giant.”
