Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez began a multifunction route in the latest and organized effort to unite the Democratic Party against Trump’s administration.
Ocasio-Cortez, New York Democrat and Sanders, an independent and former candidate for a democratic president, stopped on Thursday in Nevada, and Friday will be in Colorado and Arizona.
The route is part of the Sanders “Fighting oligarch: What’s Next”
“It’s not just about Republicans,” Ocasio-Cortez told the crowd in Las Vegas, According to NBC News. “We need a democratic party, which also fights for us more.”
