Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley doesn’t believe for a second that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is a “moderate.” And yet that’s exactly how his campaign and the DNC are trying to paint him, especially during last week’s Democratic National Convention. The party even devoted at least two segments to Republicans who decided to vote for Biden this time.
Even more tellingly, they gave former Ohio Gov. John Kasich more time to speak than Republican Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a progressive firebrand from New York. He got at least five minutes, she only 60 seconds.
And yet, in reality, Biden has bowed to pressure to enact the most radical policies ever introduced. Haley only mentioned a few.
This is why Joe Biden is not a moderate Democrat. https://t.co/4x4toJG5Zn

“You can’t raise taxes on 82 percent of Americans when we come out of the Covid-19 situation and say we’re moderate,” Haley said. “You can’t go out and ask for all these seats based on AOC’s Green New Deal and say you’re a moderate.”
“You can’t sit there and allow this discussion about how socialism will ever come to America and pretend it’s moderate,” she added.
And the DNC can single out any number of Republicans who voted for Biden, but that doesn’t change the fact that “Biden will be who Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and AOC tell him to be.”
The proof is in his flip-flop record. For example, he was a supporter of the Hyde Amendment, a bill that prohibited taxpayers from funding abortion until this year. Or maybe there is? He changed his mind several times.
Haley warned that our economy “cannot afford” his arbitrary decisions.
