The FBI is countering the narrative that it is a corrupt and biased agency working overtime to protect Joe Biden and Democrats while prosecuting Donald Trump’s imprisonment. When the game ends, they fail. Public trust in the FBI, our preeminent domestic intelligence and law enforcement agency, has likely been irreparably damaged by the exposure of the Russia collusion hoax in the Durham Report.
House Republicans decided to create a select subcommittee on federal weapons, pushing liberals to the wall. Last month, three FBI whistleblowers came forward to testify about what they believed was wrong with the J. Edgar Hoover Building. The FBI allegedly, but not surprisingly, comes down demanding on those who oppose the bureau. This case was no different. One of the agents who testified on behalf of the Republicans, Garret O’Boyle, is now the target of such retaliation over a leak that he mishandled confidential information. NBC News reported this story, which appeared on the same day that Donald Trump received an indictment from an investigation into his controversy over classified materials (via NBC News):
Garret O’Boyle, the FBI agent who was portrayed as a whistleblower during a public hearing by House Republicans, has been suspended by the bureau after an internal investigation found he leaked sensitive investigative information to the right-wing group Project Veritas, according to a bureau official.
House Democrats are now accusing O’Boyle of lying to the committee and are referring the matter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, according to a letter obtained by NBC News.
Lawmakers learned about the reason for O’Boyle’s suspension, which had not been previously reported, through testimony provided by Jennifer Moore, deputy executive director for human resources for the FBI, to the House Judiciary Committee’s Select Subcommittee on Arming the Federal Government. Parts of her testimony are included in a letter top Democrats on the judiciary and gun panels wrote to Garland maintaining that O’Boyle lied to the committee about the information leak before he was suspended.
In his letter, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y. and Del. Stacey Plaskett, D-Virgin Islands, details several instances when O’Boyle denied leaking FBI information to the media in interviews with committee staff and at the panel’s public hearing.
O’Boyle testified that he informed Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who chairs the gun subcommittee, of his suspension and provided him with a letter informing him of the FBI’s decision. O’Boyle characterized the allegation as nothing more than an allegation and said that before his suspension he had never provided nonpublic information to anyone outside the agency.
[…]
In response to the letter, O’Boyle’s spokesman told NBC News that O’Boyle denies any claims that he lied to the committee about his suspension or that he disclosed confidential information to any media outlet.
Republicans pointed to a portion of the transcript that was not included in the Democrats’ letter. In this section, Moore would not say whether the office still believed O’Doyle was the subject of the Project Veritas interview, saying she could not discuss the investigation.
“Democrats are so eager to divert attention from the Department of Justice’s misconduct that they are willing to embarrass themselves with frivolous attacks on brave FBI whistleblowers,” Russell Dye, a spokesman for the subcommittee on weapons, said in a statement. “Garret O’Boyle is a proud veteran and seasoned law enforcement officer who has served our nation with honor and distinction. His only crime was speaking out about FBI abuses, and because he was conscientious, shameless Democrats are now trying to smear his name.”
Last month, O’Boyle testified before the subcommittee on firearms during a hearing on the FBI’s alleged anti-conservative bias. He testified alongside two other self-proclaimed FBI whistleblowers whose security clearances were suspended because their conduct in the Jan. 6 cases called into question their loyalty to the U.S., a bureau official wrote to Congress.
This is wealthy. But the system by which the bureau could launch attacks on its enemies or enable a twist in the media narrative no longer works. They tried to do the same with Report FD-1023, which the FBI uses to gather information from confidential human sources about Biden’s alleged bribery scheme. Joe Biden allegedly received $5 million from Burisma Holdings in 2015-2016; Hunter Biden also got $5 million. The office attempted to conceal the document by refusing to turn it over, but contempt charges forced it to turn over the records to House oversight members. It’s an incriminating document that never came into the spotlight because Trump was impeached on the same day as part of the aforementioned secret documents investigation. I know the timing of these indictments is incredible. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) tried to sell the FBI’s trick that Trump-appointed Attorney General William Barr ended the investigation due to lack of evidence. Untruth. He forwarded the case to the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware. Raskin also said this report is based on Rudy Giuliani’s allegations, which have also been denied. The source, who fears death if his identity is revealed, has been exploited since the Obama administration.
The point is that the FBI spin-shop is no longer effective because no one believes them. In any case, more and more Americans are learning that the FBI is covering for Biden. A recent hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee was a disaster for FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate, who was questioned about the bureau’s Russian collusion antics, including illegal FISA warrants spying on Trump associates during the 2016 election. Abbate also said he had “no idea” about the alleged recordings Biden allegedly bribed, Mykola Zlochevsky, allegedly made during conversations with the then-vice president. The FBI redacted Biden’s name and involvement in FD-1023, which was released to Congress. The FBI claimed this was to protect their sources. What does redacting Biden’s name have to do with it? We are witnessing a cover-up. This is exactly the type of office environment the three FBI whistleblowers are trying to portray and the bureau is trying to discredit. Yet their senior media operations that peddled Russian collusion nonsense are ineffective and ineffective due to excessive lies.
