Legislation in OHIO replaces the bonnet veto for Kasich’s weapons

Before Christmas, the Governor John Kasich, a republican governor, vetoed a weapon bill that would change the burden of proof when shooting self -defense. Kasich, who is called “a guy from the second amendment”, expressed his frustration that the state legislator could not come up with bilateral solutions as he closed the year. Well, it’s not a mood, John. This is a state of war. And the legislator showed that when they returned for Christmas to replace the veto (via via NRA-ILA):

… House of representatives and the Senate in Ohio voted 67-22 and 21-11 respectively to replace the veto of self-defense legislation by John Kasich, Sub. The Act on House 228. The replacement of the Act on House 228 will now be implemented.

Some of the vital provisions in Sub. Bill House 228 is:

Charging the overthrow of a self -defense claim in relation to the prosecutor’s office, as in any other country in the country

A critical extension of prejudice to ensure that the towns do not create a mosaic of weapons regarding weapons throughout Ohio.

Language updates to reflect federal law that affect some types of firearms such as Mosberg Shockwave

Explains the right to mark Ohio in relation to hidden wearing. These vital changes simplify what has become a complicated part of Ohio law.

Sign the bill and then go away, John.
