Democrats wrapped up a four-day convention Thursday with a blank speech from party candidate Kamala Harris. Her brief time on the main stage has left the regime media, which has given her 84 percent positive coverage since Pelosi’s coup, according to one analysisdrunk with joy.
Harris, like the list of speakers before her, spent much of her speech demonizing her general election opponent and reiterating one of the party’s most consistent campaign themes: that Donald Trump will utilize his authority to defeat his enemies if he returns to the White House. “Consider … his clear intention to imprison journalists, political opponents and anyone else he deems an enemy,” Harris argued.
Other DNC speakers similarly warned that a Trump presidency would lead to mass arrests and imprisonments of Democrats. Michigan Sen. Mallory McMorrow warned that Trump “will be able to weaponize the Justice Department to go after his political opponents.” McMorrow, who must have missed the news of the nine-hour armed raid on Mar-a-Lago in August 2022, went on to insist that Trump “will turn the FBI into his personal police force.”
“That’s not how it works in America. That’s how it works in dictatorships!” McMorrow shouted.
Now, one might agree with McMorrow and others that the full weight of the federal government’s law enforcement operations should not be used to settle political scores. This kind of thing is indeed the style of banana republics.
And exactly the same thing has been happening in America since January 2021.
Not only have the Justice Department and FBI launched criminal investigations against Donald Trump, resulting in two unprecedented federal indictments against the former president, but the Biden/Garland/Monaco Justice Department has also indicted and jailed two longtime Trump confidants — Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon, who is currently behind bars in Connecticut — and helped lead other politically motivated criminal prosecutions against Trump in New York and Georgia.
In addition, the prosecution of Americans who protested Joe Biden’s election on January 6 is energetic and ongoing. At the DNC convention, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves (pictured above) announced the arrest of seven people for their role in a protest at the Capitol more than three and a half years ago. (At least half of them live in key swing states, including North Carolina, Michigan and Pennsylvania, an effective way to keep “insurrection” in the headlines.)
And as Graves gradually approaches his promised 2,000 J6ers case count, his latest press release he boasts that “more than 1,488 people have been charged in nearly all 50 states with crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol” — an impeachment report released this week by House Republicans confirmed that Graves refused to consider prosecuting Hunter Biden for tax evasion, which whistleblowers revealed to Congress last year.
Special counsel David Weiss asked Graves in early 2022 to cooperate with his office to prosecute Hunter Biden for tax crimes committed in Washington in 2014 and 2015, a decision that had to be made quickly because the statute of limitations was about to expire. But Graves denied Weiss’ request.
“On March 19, 2022, Graves met with five or six members of his office … where they decided not to cooperate with Weiss’s office in prosecuting Hunter Biden.” As a result of that decision, the report noted, “Weiss was unable to pursue charges in D.C..”
This kind of brazen pandering does not go unnoticed in the nation’s capital, which is why Graves is Harris’s most likely top contender for attorney general if she wins the election in November.
And Graves’ cover-up of the Biden family’s criminal activities and continued harassment of J6 members are not the only reasons Harris chose Graves.
Harris seems to be close to Graves wifeFatima Goss Graves, president and CEO of the far-left National Women’s Law Center (NWLC), a $100 million nonprofit based in Washington. According to White House visitor records, Goss Graves has met with Harris or attended events hosted by her on numerous occasions since her husband took the helm of the most powerful U.S. attorney’s office in the country. (The records also show that Graves visited the Biden White House six times in March 2022, including a one-on-one with one of Biden’s senior public engagement advisers at the same time her husband was figuring out how to avoid working with Weiss on the Hunter Biden case.)
I am excited to support @vp. I couldn’t be more excited that she will be the party’s nominee. And I’m sure she will be the first female President of the United States! photo:twitter.com/kEvJwFHxRN

The bond between the two families is forceful. Meena Harris, Kamala’s niece, sits on the NWLC board. And Matthew Graves worked at DLA Piper in Washington at the same time as Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
They also share the same radical worldview. Goss Graves’ racially oriented organization promotes unrestricted abortion, transgender rights, including allowing boys to compete in girls’ sports, and mandatory income, housing, child care, and government-backed health insurance.
Last year, NWLC launched program called “Tax the Patriarchy.” The plan identified nearly $3 trillion in recent taxes to be spent on a wish list of redistributive government policies, including $650 billion (yes, billion) over ten years for “baby bonds” that would “[invest] money in savings accounts for children from low-income families would combat wealth inequality by benefiting those who have historically been excluded from wealth-building opportunities such as homeownership or higher education.”
But the issue that is close to Goss Graves’ heart is the dismantling of the Supreme Court, or rather the removal of Justice Clarence Thomas. It is part of a broad coalition demanding Thomas’s resignation and spreading propaganda about his “ethics” violations. Goss Graves worked with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse on Supreme Court cases; Whitehouse sent letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland last month, asking for a special prosecutor to be appointed to investigate Thomas
Given his history of doing grubby work for Democrats in the U.S. attorney’s office, it’s effortless to imagine Graves using the attorney general’s office to fulfill the wild dreams of his wife and boss, Kamala Harris.
Would Attorney General Matthew Graves investigate and prosecute conservative Supreme Court justices in an attempt to force them to resign?
Will Attorney General Matthew Graves accelerate the criminalization of free speech that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. warned about in his history book? address to the nation on Friday? Will Attorney General Matthew Graves prosecute private companies that refuse to enforce “woke” policies on racial, gender and income equality?
Would Attorney General Matthew Graves jail journalists and social media influencers who opposed the Harris regime? Would Attorney General Matthew Graves arrest Elon Musk for promoting “disinformation” or something similar to what happened Saturday to Telegram founder Pavel Durov? After all, Graves’ prosecutors routinely cite inflammatory social media posts as evidence of impropriety in the J6 cases.
Will Attorney General Matthew Graves continue to protect Democratic political corruption as he did in the Hunter Biden case?
The answer to all of the above questions is yes. That’s why Attorney General Matthew Graves is a terrifying prospect — and a very realistic scenario if Kamala Harris is elected in November.
