Political parties do not matter when it comes to the practicality and functionality of border walls. Democrats say walls don’t work, and even some Republicans agree. I don’t care if a Republican – most likely like former Ohio Gov. John Kasich – says a physical barrier isn’t necessary. Politicians are worried about public opinion during the next election. Talk to a Border Patrol agent, sheriff’s deputy or police officer in a border county and you will learn the truth about the need for a wall.
This week, President Trump appeared with National Border Patrol Council Chairman Brandon Judd in the White House press briefing room. Judd spoke about the effectiveness of the wall and its need, and has experience on the border that makes him an critical voice of reason. Judd spoke with men and women patrolling the southern border. He was told how the wall would support prevent thousands of illegal crossings every year. Illegal aliens would not be able to cross borders as easily, preventing and deterring illegal entry.
Leon Wilmont is the sheriff of Yuma County, Arizona. He said he can’t speak for others, but in his experience walls work to curb illegal immigration. Wlimont said it existed between 2005 and 2009 91 percentage decrease in calls for service and arrests related to illegal matters.
Quite recently 2005The Democratic Party supported a border wall. Now they have completely switched to a position against the wall. They took national security and safety and turned it into a political fight.
The government shutdown rests squarely on the shoulders of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). The White House sent out invitations and offered a compromise, but did not agree to any concessions.
When dealing with the left, you need to understand their mentality. They want to completely change the demographic structure of voters in the United States. Their fight is not about compassion for others who come to America. If they did, they would be opposed to illegal immigration and would not encourage amnesty. The Democratic Party is trying to get as many people into the country as possible to vote for it and make them legal citizens.
Whenever Democrats make the issue political, be aware of it. The same goes for global warming, climate change, or whatever the environmental issue is called this week.
For Democrats, all that matters is power and full control. This is it. Nothing more. After Trump’s election, they see the Rust Belt disappearing. The black acceptance rate was as high as 36 percent. They need up-to-date potential voters.
On the other hand, law enforcement and Border Guard officers took an oath to obey the law in force in this country. They see firsthand what works and what doesn’t. Seriously, how can Democrats claim to know about border security from Washington in their buildings with armed guards? Who takes them seriously on this topic? The left really doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Their fight is up-to-date voters and that is why the wall is “immoral.”
If you want to know the truth, talk to a CBP agent. Forget about what “experts” who are full of talking points and political motivations have to say on the news stations. This should be an indication when there is no one on some news channels to speak to Border Guard or border district officers. On the scarce occasions when this happens, interviews are tense and brief.
This is because the mainstream media has an agenda. Yes, the Border Guard has a plan, consistent with the law. They swore to obey the laws of their country and not change them to further their political goals.
Don’t let politicians tell you what the southern border needs. Really, unless they talked to the LEO at the border, they have no idea. If a politician agrees with the Border Guard, it can be assumed that he is well informed and educated on this topic. Otherwise, squawking opposition serves political gain.
