During a lecture at George Washington University on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton, who has lost two presidential elections, blamed Republicans and so-called “voting rights crackdowns” for her 2016 defeat by Donald Trump.
“Voter purging is another form of voter suppression. Between 2012, when President Obama was running, and 2016, when I was running, 12 million — 12 million voters — were purged from the voter rolls,” Clinton explained. “They were purged in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Florida and other places, often using a system designed and paid for by Robert Mercer. And when you have a state government controlled by Republicans, as was the case in those states in 2016, it is virtually impossible — in fact, I would say impossible — to defend yourself, let alone stop this very deliberate form of suppression.”

She then used the unsuccessful campaign of Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams as other the so-called example of “restriction of suffrage”.
“We saw what happened in Georgia, where Stacey Abrams should have been governor of that state,” Clinton said. “Registered voters were not being put on the rolls, their registration was just sitting in a back room with no intention of ever registering them to actually vote.”

Abrams has relentlessly attacked Brian Kemp for beating her. He was secretary of state when he ran against her. Part of his job was to make sure voter rolls were up to date under the Motor Voter Act which president bill clinton signed in the 1990s.
This is what Motor Voters Act states (emphasis mine):
Section 8 The Act also creates requirements for how States maintain voter registration rolls for federal elections. The Act considers as timely those valid voter registration applications submitted by eligible applicants to designated state and local officials or postmarked, if filed by mail, at least 30 days before the federal election. The Act also requires that all applicants be notified of whether their voter registration applications have been accepted or denied. The act requires states to maintain exact and up-to-date voter rolls, such as identifying people who have lost the right to vote due to death or moving out of the jurisdiction.
Hillary is upset that the states are Actually doing their part and following the law her husband signed into law in the 90s.
Hillary is upset because she thinks she should be president, just as Abrams thinks she should be governor because people who are ineligible to vote — because they have died, moved, or become felons — have been purged from the voter rolls.
And Democrats wonder why Republicans are so keen to keep it all up-to-date… because keeping ineligible voters on the rolls increases the likelihood of voter fraud.
