Here are the 22 Republican traitors who sided with the Democrats to save Rashida Tliab

She was one of the most insufferable voices on the Hill. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a member of this division, panicked, spreading anti-Semitism and pro-terrorism propaganda in the wake of the October 7 terrorist attacks by Hamas. More than 1,000 terrorists invaded southern Israel and murdered 1,400 men, women and children. When asked about the beheading and burning of Israeli children, Tlaib smirked. She also repeated the lie that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza during a pro-Hamas rally in Washington.

It deserves condemnation, but that effort was torpedoed when 22 House Republicans joined Democrats to file the bill last week (via CBS News):

Two of the House’s most polarizing members were spared potential punishment on Wednesday after lawmakers voted against further condemnations of Democrat Rashida Tlaib for her controversial comments about Israel.

The House voted in favor of the Tlaib resolution, effectively thwarting an attempt to publicly reprimand her. Democrats appeared to make a mutual effort to pass over Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after Tlaib’s vote.

A elementary majority was needed to prevent the anti-Tlaib measure from reaching a final vote, which meant Democrats needed GOP support. Twenty-three Republicans joined all Democrats in voting to kill the anti-Tlaib measure.

The House was expected to next vote on the anti-Greene measure, but it was removed from the voting schedule after Tlaib’s resolution was blocked.

Here is the list of GOP traitors (via Hill):

Rep. Kelly Armstrong (ND)

Rep. Ken Buck (Colo.)

Representative John Duarte (California)

Representative Chuck Edwards (North Carolina)

Representative Morgan Griffith (Virginia)

Representative Glenn Grothman (Wisconsin)

Rep. Harriet Hageman (Wyo.)

Representative. Bill Huizenga (Mich.)

Representative Darrell Issa (California)

Rep. Dusty Johnson (SD)

Representative Doug LaMalfa (California)

Representative. Thomas Massie (Ky.)

Representative Tom McClintock (California)

Rep. Richard McCormick (Ga.)

Representative Max Miller (Ohio)

Representative (*22*) Miller-Meeks (Iowa)

Representative. John Moolenaar (Mich.)

Representative Chip Roy (Texas)

Rep. Austin Scott (Ga.)

Rep. Victoria Spartaz (Ind.)

Representative Michael Turner (Ohio)

Rep. Derrick Van Orden (Wisconsin) — Greene later said Van Orden voted yes by mistake and changed his vote.

Representative Timothy Walberg (Mich.)

Roy’s chip? Thomas Massie? What gives, man? Mr. Roy had some concerns about the language in Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) motion on the insurrection (via WFIN):

“Rep. Rashida Tlaib has repeatedly made outrageous comments against Israel and the Jewish people. Her behavior is unbecoming of a member of Congress and certainly deserves condemnation – if not reprimand,” Roy began in a statement provided to Fox News Digital on Wednesday.

“However, tonight’s thoughtless resolution to censure Tlaib was deeply flawed and made legally and factually unverified claims, including the claim that he led an ‘insurrection.’

He continued: “I voted for the resolution. In January 2021, in the wake of the events at the Capitol, the legal term “insurrection” was stretched and abused by many. “We should not continue to perpetuate claims of an ‘insurrection’ at the Capitol, and we should not misuse that term now.”

Roy, a horde of anti-Israel protesters stormed inside, where they gathered in the Capitol Rotunda. This is rebellion, given the up-to-date rules. Greene intends to reapply motion to censure Tlaib. It’s better for these 22 to unite in action. Rebecca also had some thoughts on this subject.
