Republican Senator Missouri Josh Hawley on Monday presented the legislation that would send at least USD 600 to every adult and child in America in the form of a discount control, which is similar to the control of stimuli from the time of Pandemic.
Hawley is a co-author of the rules, creating controls of Covid-19 pandemic stimuli in 2020, along with the independent Senator Vermont Bern Sanders, who provided Americans up to USD 1200 to support in the financial difficulties created by Pandemia. The up-to-date bill resembles the legislation of the stimulus.
This movement will take place after President Donald Trump he told journalists Last week he would be interested in sending discount controls related to the American tariff, although he did not indicate how much it would be.
“As President Trump suggested, my legislation would helpful Americans to use the wealth that Trump’s tariffs are returning to this country,” Hawley said in a statement obtained by NBC News.
Legislation will send USD 600 for adult Americans and children who earn less than 75,000 USD per year for individuals, USD 112,000 per year for the head of households and USD 150,000 for common filters. Checking discounts for those who earn more than that would be reduced by 5%.
The Act also allows for greater discounts per person if the revenues from the tariff exceed current forecasts.
Hawley’s Act will still have to pass both congress chambers and can face difficulties at home, after speaker Mike Johnson rejected the effort at the beginning of this year to create a dividend check of the government department.
