Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) pushed back against woke ideology, calling on Republicans to unite and fight Democrats.
DeSantis traveled to Pittsburgh to campaign for Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano (R-PA) to address culture war issues, critical race theory (CRT) and the transgender push.
“I think that in Florida – and we want this to be the case in Pennsylvania and across the country – we cannot just stand by while woke ideology destroys every institution in our society,” DeSantis said in his speech.
Florida’s governor has emphatically stated that the fight to awaken society cannot be overlooked, arguing that America cannot give in to the left’s radical agenda.
“We must fight the woke in our schools. We must fight the awakening in our companies. We must fight against the woke in government agencies. We can never, ever give in to woke ideology. And let me tell you this, the state of Florida is where the woke die,” he told the crowd.
During his 40-minute speech, DeSantis focused on criticizing the Republican Party for not fully supporting Mastriano.
“It is important that all Republicans join our candidate for governor and support him… And this doesn’t just apply to Republican voters. That means Republican organizations in Pennsylvania and across the country must get involved in this race. They need to dedicate resources to this race,” DeSantis said.
The governor has become a role model for the Republican Party, making him one of the most popular leaders in America. Florida is a perfect example of what the United States could look like if Americans vote Democrats out of office: freedom, less government, and more money in your pocket.
DeSantis is hitting the campaign trail, making stops in Ohio, New Mexico and Arizona, rallying for Ohio Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance, Arizona Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters and GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.
