Target decided to jump into the pool he woke up in, and now he’s drowning. The retail chain decided to go the way of Dylan Mulvaney, a biological male posing as a woman whose marketing partnership set Bud Light on fire. Less than two weeks after ditching LGBTQ+ kids’ clothing, Target’s sales dropped by nearly $10 billion. Striving for the Human Rights Campaign’s top LGBT rating has been costly for companies, but that doesn’t seem to have deterred corporate boards as Kellogg could be the next to attack transgender issues in its brands.
Target’s take on the trend was particularly impressive when it wore trans-friendly clothing, including swimsuits that allowed for clothing. This backlash has caused many Target locations to move the merchandise to the back of the store where it is less apparent, prompting bogus news about “anti-trans” protests at some locations.
We have some bomb threats at Target stores in various states, but outlets like The Washington Post buried that information for obvious reasons. It didn’t fit the narrative. A person or people have made threats because Target has betrayed the LGBT+ community (via WaPo) [emphasis mine]: :
Target stores in at least five states were evacuated this weekend after receiving bomb threats. While no explosives were discovered, the incidents come amid a backlash against the retailer’s merchandise on Pride Month.
The threats that occurred Saturday in parts of Oklahoma, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont and Louisiana mirror those that have emerged in recent weeks in Ohio, Utah and Pennsylvania. In most cases, unknown individuals sent threatening emails to local news outlets. In some jurisdictions, the FBI and the regional Joint Terrorism Task Force are assisting in the investigation.
Law enforcement investigated the threats and determined the stores were safe and sound, Target said in a statement. All stores are “currently open and operating regular hours.”

According to South Burlington Police Chief Shawn Burke, news outlets in Vermont, New Hampshire and New York received the same threatening email on Saturday. A message accusing Target of betraying the LGBTQ+ communitynamed store in South Burlington, Vt. and in Plattsburgh, NY, and in Keene and West Lebanon, NH
Burke said his officers helped evacuate the store and conducted a “cursory search to ensure the security of the store,” which lasted about 25 minutes.
Yes, that last part, the core of the article, is mentioned a few paragraphs down. This story will fade quickly because you know the drill: no weapons can be used against Republicans here.
