With the defeat of Liz Cheney – that was a joke – the left lost its favorite Republican. But that doesn’t mean they won’t still apply her name to raise money. In fact, the Democrat machine has really shown off some stupid and crazy fundraising emails lately, which begs the question: Do Democrats think Democrats are stupid, or do they know they are?
One recent fundraising email from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee begins: “This is terrifying. Today, Trump can finally get his revenge on Liz Cheney in the Wyoming primary. Worse yet, Trump loyalists are WINING across the country. Trump loyalists WON in Ohio. They WON in North Carolina. They WON in Pennsylvania. Derek. We cannot emphasize this enough: If we lose the House majority to Republicans, we would hand it over to one of the most radical extremist groups our country has ever known.”
They love Liz Cheney. They never voted for her, except for her anti-Trump votes, but they love her… or something.
Cheney has been fundraising for Democrats for a year, if not longer, and now he’s had enough. The useful idiot loses the “useful” part.
“That’s why we urgently implore 2,000 of our most loyal Democrats to get up before midnight and tell the handpicked Republican Party loyalists in the House of Representatives that we will never – EVER – allow them to hold the majority again. Can we count on you? $3 right now?” the email continues.
I am not and never have been a “loyal democrat”, let alone one of the “most loyal”. Who writes such things? Don’t they have a database they can look up names against and see if anyone has ever given them a dime?
More importantly, who falls for this garbage?
The Institute for Democratic Strategy sent an email with the subject line “Brett Kavanaugh TERMINATED.” How “finished” exactly is a Supreme Court justice? Because morons will give Democrats money to “pass the Judiciary Act,” a leftist plan to pack the Supreme Court.
An August 15, 2022, email (well after the Dobbs ruling overturning Roe v. Wade was published: “POLITICO REPORTS: SUPREME COURT VOTED TO STOP Abortion Rights, DRAFT OPINION INDICATES.”
He hilariously continues, “Derek – stop whatever you are doing. Don’t close this email. Don’t open Facebook. We are simply [23] local donations instead of passing the law on the judiciary, expanding the court and defending reproductive rights! Donate $6 now to elect Democrats to pass the Judiciary Act, then read why!”
Give and then read why it’s worth giving!
This is what they came up with next. “FIRST: Brett Kavanaugh made a DIRTY promise to overturn Roe v. Wade,” they say. “THEN: Democrats were furious! So they RESPONDED to his attack! NOW: Donations to pass the Judiciary Act, expand the Supreme Court and protect reproductive rights will increase. Kavanaugh is COMFORTED! But we cannot let go of the brakes. We cannot afford to lose momentum. That’s why we need 5,000 donations by MIDNIGHT to fuel our fight to pass this critical legislation. Derek, will you donate $5? REMEMBER: If we adopt the Judiciary Act, Joe Biden will do it, we will be able to appoint 4 new Supreme Court judges. This means we could secure a LIBERAL majority and thwart Kavanaugh’s nefarious plan to overturn Roe v. Wade. He would be furious! But if we do this, we will have wasted this opportunity, we can’t reach our goal of 5,000 donations before Midnight, Derek, everything hangs in the balance to pass the Judiciary Act, expand the court and defend reproductive rights.”
Roe v. Wade it was annulled in June, that is August. Does no one read copies of their fundraiser? I get that it’s written like a teenager’s diary, but you’d think she’d notice that she’s writing about things that happened a few months ago. What’s next, emails saying Hillary Clinton can only choose donations? That their $5 could make a difference when it comes to Obamacare?
These leftists are worth paying attention to. If you are one of them, a person willing to give these scammers your hard-earned money, you really have to wonder whether they hold you in such contempt or whether they think you are an idiot. Of course, if you’re still giving them your money, you’ve basically already answered the question.
