Democratic legislators Ohio propose “contraception begins in the erection act”

A novel bill in Ohio would make men to be for men to ejaculate without the intention of having a child.

“You won’t get pregnant yourself,” said a representative of the state Anita Somani, D-Dublin.

Between the performance of many operations as Friday, Democrat explained that she wanted to start the healthcare regulation of men.

“If you are going to punish someone for an unwanted pregnancy, why not punish a person who is also responsible for pregnancy?” She said.

She introduced legislation that would make men be “sperm discharge without having fertilization.”

Somani and a representative of the state of Tristan Rader, D-shelawood, joined forces to propose a bill on the name “The concept begins in the erection act”.

There are some exceptions, for example, when you utilize protection or contraception during sex. It would also not apply when a person masturbates, transfers semen or when the relationship between members of the LGBTQ+community takes place, and therefore does not “produce ova”.

So it would apply to sex without a condom and without the desire to procreate. This crime would cost a violation of thousands of dollars, and a maximum of $ 10,000 for release.

“It is beyond the absurd what is happening here,” laughed Austin Beigel’s Republican activist. “This is a mockery of the most basic biological concepts.”

The funny aspect is something that both Beigel and Somani agree.

“If you think that it is absurd to regulate men, you should think that women’s regulation is equally absurd,” Somani replied.

“So this is making a statement,” she said.

“This is a statement,” Somani said with a laugh.

Voters in Ohio mostly legalized and protected the right to abortion in 2023.

Edition 1 transferred 57%-43%and introduced reproductive rights to the state constitution. Ohioans have the right to make their own decisions regarding abortion, contraception, treatment of fertility, miscarriage and continuous pregnancy. It was forbidden to interfere or punish someone for exercising this right.

Despite this, anti -abortion supporters like Beigel are trying to reverse it. He is the president of Abortion Abortion Ohio.

He said that in the coming weeks of the legislators they would introduce a novel bill on the total criminalization of abortion.

“He says that human life begins after conception,” he said. “Therefore, all security offered to other persons on the basis of state law are also offered to pre -born.”

He said that the act is called the Act on equal protection of Ohio Prenatal.

“It will be introduced soon,” he said.

Beigel believes that legislation could stay in court because of a provision regarding equal protection in the US constitution. He said that the state constitution now violates the 14th amendment to the federal card.

Legal experts routinely criticized this argument, saying that it would not persist.

Beigel knows that there will be a legal challenge, but he also tries to normalize the idea of a total ban. Continuing him, he can be passed further down the line, he argued.

“Would this bill be contrary to the will of voters?” Beigel was asked.

“Yes, look back at the history of America … The issue of slavery was popular in relation to most at certain times, so it is absolutely possible for most of the population of the state to support something that is bad and something that is wrong,” he replied.

For years, Somani criticized this argument for misleading, while the Democrats called her a racist to suggest that abortion was similar to slavery.

Democrat said that the effort of anti -abortion activists is one of the reasons why the regulations are needed.

“Like bills for abortions, doctors punished or created crimes for doctors and patients, the purpose of the bill is to demonstrate that we should not supervise any reproductive rights,” said Somani.

Beigel added that he understands that Somani is satirical, but she lacks a trace.

“Pro-life movement never tried to regulate women’s bodies,” he said. “We are trying to regulate the actions of people who want to kill another person.”

He said that the Somani act is invasive and is not based on science, questioning how democrats spend time.

“If they think it is a loss of taxpayers’ money, well, they should think the same on the other side,” answered the doctor.

He also had enough Republicans who choose which bills are “jokes” or not because they believe that their regulations “destroying public education in the state” or “not supporting children in free meals at school” are absurd.

“I think it is the idea of” Republican Freedom “and” Freedom of Men “and therefore affects such a large nerve,” said Somani.

This account is probably not possible to imagine the legislator controlled by GOP, but heats the conversation.
