Commentary: The J6 vampire attacks to save the decaying corpse of the insurgent narrative

For more than three years, Democrats, the media and a huge segment of Republicans have insisted that Donald Trump is solely responsible for the security failures at the Capitol that occurred on January 6, 2021.

Never mind that he has already warned of potential violence – not from his supporters, but from the BLM and Antifa thugs who tried for weeks to burn down the nation’s capital after George Floyd overdosed in May 2020 and then attacked pro-Trump demonstrators at Trump streets. DC during “Stop the Steal” events in November and December 2020 and pushed for the deployment of the National Guard for the day.

It doesn’t matter that the president is not the person responsible for protecting Congress buildings and grounds. Or that Washington has more law enforcement and intelligence agencies than any other city in the country.

No, Americans have been told repeatedly that Trump abdicated his duties and facilitated the breach of the Capitol in order to delay Congress’ official certification of the 2020 presidential election.

Perhaps no one has pushed this charge more forcefully than Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The day after a four-hour riot that only temporarily delayed the Electoral College vote, Pelosi accused Trump for inciting an “armed insurrection” that will “forever stain our nation’s history.” Pelosi also called on Jan. 7 for the resignation of then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund; Pelosi’s sergeant-at-arms, Paul Irving, voluntarily resigned from his position the same day.

Self-appointed fact-checkers soon cleared Pelosi of any wrongdoing. “SM. Pelosi has considerable influence as speaker, but is not responsible for the security of Congress” – Nicholas Fandos, political reporter New York Times, he wrote in July 2021. “That is the job of the Capitol Police, an agency over which Ms. Pelosi has only indirect influence.”

Of course, “indirectly” did a lot in Fandos’ estimation. Irving was one of three officials on the Capitol Police board at the time that rejected several requests made by Sund regarding the D.C. National Guard.

And Pelosi certainly took responsibility for the Capitol’s security when she agreed to fencing the grounds and installing metal detectors that even members of Congress had to pass through after January 6. task ever-unbalanced Lt. Gen. Russell Honore to conduct a “security review” after the events of January 6.

Until now, the public has been kept in the dim about Pelosi’s hidden hand surrounding January 6. No documentation from her office has been released; J6 Select Committee Chair Bennie Thompson decided Pelosi was “out of reach” of any congressional investigation.

However, Pelosi is not excluded from a separate and ongoing House investigation. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), chairman of the House subcommittee investigating the J6 committee and the events of January 6, stated that outdoor the Pelosi/Thompson/Cheney committee removed evidence, destroyed witness interview videos, and produced them on national television certificate star witnesses (looking at you, Cassidy Hutchinson) and other abuses.

Loudermilk just obtained never-before-seen footage of Pelosi driving from the Capitol to Fort McNair on Jan. 6 as she sought shelter from unarmed constituents who were sharply criticizing her chief of staff for failing to advise her to contact the National Guard.

Rush to re-introduce video in favor of Pelosi – and against Trump – MSNBC twice she left out Pelosi’s apparent guilty plea.

The clip also shows Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer talking to Ryan McCarthy, then-Secretary of the Army, who now reports fresh examination for failing to approve the deployment of DC Guardsmen by 5 p.m. on January 6.

Pelosi herself went on MSNBC to further make her case:

But the video – and the mention of Pelosi/MSNBC – opened a fresh can of worms at the most inopportune time for the J6 “insurrection” propagandists. Joe Biden and Democrats planned to operate the January 6 “terrorist attack” as a major campaign issue. Instead, the narrative backfires as Trump repeatedly promises to release J6 “political prisoners” and raises unanswered questions, including the operate of informants and agitators.

Even the usually silent Chief Sund has spoken out about the fresh film. In infrequent social media posts, Sund reminded the public how he was denied facilitate:

Pelosi’s panic over the release of the material is understandable. Once considered a fatal blow to Trump and the MAGA movement, January 6 is instead emerging as a scandal of historic proportions that threatens to irreversibly destroy public trust in key institutions, including the Department of Justice, the military and the Secret Service.

Pelosi’s performative crocodile tears will not stop the pursuit of truth. And, hopefully, responsibility.
