CNN Addresses Ohio Democrats Skipping Appearances With Biden, Warns More ‘Scheduling Conflicts’ Coming

President Joe Biden spoke on Wednesday in Cleveland, Ohio, about including the Butch News Act in the American Rescue Plan. But the president did it without two key Ohio Democrats, Reps. Tim Ryan, who is running against Republican J.D. Vance for an open Senate seat, and Nan Whaley, who is running against incumbent Gov. Mike DeWine, a Republican. Terry McAuliffe (Va.), who ran again for his former seat last November, repeatedly encouraged the president and vice president, as well as many people from other states, to campaign for him. These multiple campaign events occurred despite McAuliffe admitting Biden was unpopular in Virginia. In November, McAuliffe lost to Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
