On Wednesday, Ohio Right to Life revealed that a 17-week-old aborted baby had been abandoned in a dumpster. The group claims that the Northeast Ohio Women’s Center (NEOWC) abortion facility is responsible for the illegal removal, as are Right to Life of Northeast Ohio and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society.

AND Ohio Right to Life statement read an excerpt:

“Ohio Right to Life is heartbroken and horrified by the abortion industry’s complete disregard for human life,” said Mike Gonidakis, president of Ohio Right to Life. “This child suffered twice at the hands of the abortion industry: first, brutally dismembered, and second, the degradation of his or her broken body as it was thrown into the trash. Tragedies like this are why Ohio Right to Life worked tirelessly to pass the Unborn Child Dignity Act.”

Governor Mike DeWine signed SB 27, or the Unborn Child Dignity Act, into law in December 2020. SB 27 requires the Ohio Department of Health to establish rules for the proper and humane burial or cremation of babies lost to abortion.

AND live broadcast press conference from ORTL discussed the situation in more detail, reviewing, among other things, photos of the aborted child.

Facebook post of Created Equalwhich contains graphic images, noted that a pro-life volunteer who searched the dumpsters found “the dismembered body of an aborted baby, approximately 16-18 weeks pregnant, killed by dilation and evacuation.” The post also noted that “the aborted baby was hidden, wrapped in a bloody blue surgical pad, used during an abortion procedure.” It went on to note that “the baby’s left leg, left foot, and right hand were found in the NEOWC dumpster, along with the name of one of the clinic’s abortion doctors on the prescription.”

According to AbortionProcedures.coma project by former abortion provider Dr. Anthony Levatino and Live Action:

A dilation and evacuation abortion, or D&E, is a surgical procedure in which the abortionist first dilates the woman’s cervix and then uses instruments to break open and extract the baby from the uterus. A D&E abortion is typically performed between weeks thirteen and twenty-four of the LMP (that is, between the thirteenth and twenty-fourth week after the first day of the woman’s last menstrual period).

Mary Margaret Olohan reports for The Daily Caller he emphasized that The abortion facility did not respond to a request for comment, though it did provide brief comment to the Akron Beacon Journal.

WITH Eric Marotta’s Testimony for Akron Beacon Journal:

Sherri Lynn Grossman, administrator of the Northeast Ohio Women’s Center, said she learned of the allegations on Wednesday and denied all of them.

She found there could be no improper disposal of fetal remains, medical waste and patient information.

“Absolutely not — absolutely not,” she said. “We have very strict policies and procedures in place,” she said, adding that any attempt by groups to retrieve items discarded at the site could constitute trespassing. She declined to comment further, adding that the facility is investigating.

The three groups said the alleged improper disposal of fetal remains, medical waste and patient information violated state law.

Ohio Right to Life said it is filing complaints with the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Medical Board, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and Summit County Public Health, among others.

Bloody sheets and urine cups with the women’s names on them were also found to have been disposed of improperly, potentially violating HIPAA.

Created Equal also addressed the fact that “NEOWC has a negative history.”

In 2014, Jeremy Pelzer reported for Cleveland.com that the state Department of Health found the facility had expired medical equipment, lacked emergency lighting and did not meet staff training requirements.

On July 25, 2020, a 29-year-old woman was taken by ambulance from the facility to a nearby hospital due to “uncontrolled bleeding” following an abortion, According to 911 records released to pro-life group Operation Rescue.

Concerns were also raised by one of the doctors performing abortions at the facility, David Burkons, who was licensed canceled in 2015 Down without pretending enter prescribed controlled substances into patient records, including highly addictive opioid medications.

He was recently released from probation on February 10, 2021. and his driving license has been lively since then.

Dr. Burkons was also employed by Planned Parenthood. According to to Danny Davids from Live news.

The clinic’s current abortionist and training instructor is Dr. David Burkons. During 2011-2012, while working as an abortionist at Planned Parenthood, seventeen of Burkons’ patients experienced moderate to severe complications from their abortions. His results were so dismal that state records show that 41% of all complications from medication abortions came from his office during those years.

In 2015, at the time of the report, Burkons was at Capital Care Network. “During an inspection of the clinic, state officials found appalling conditions: dirty walls, carpets and furniture — even a bullet hole in the exit door to the recovery room. In 2011, Capital Care Network was cited for multiple violations of safety standards for infection control, cleaning procedures and staff training,” Davids also wrote.

In August 2013, Cortney O’Brien presented some of the complaints against Burkons to Townhall.

Rescue operation provides a comprehensive review of Burkons’s failed performances over the years.

Mike DeWine, a Republican governor and former state attorney general who investigated abortion facilities for illegally disposing of aborted babies, signed the act on the dignity of the unborn child December 31, 2020 Although the law has been tangled in the courts, Gov.
