A vulnerable Democrat incumbent endorsed by the Radical Left Group

It seems quite likely that Republicans could flip a U.S. Senate seat in Ohio and potentially regain control of the entire chamber as a result. Vulnerable Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown is running for re-election, though it doesn’t look like he’ll run in a way that will appeal to voters in an increasingly red state, especially after celebrating the endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a radical left-wing group.

Earlier this month, HRC announced their support Brown. Group X’s account has restricted replies to the post regarding this announcement.

The announcement included a statement from the senator. “We must do everything we can to support our LGBTQ friends and neighbors and ensure they are protected from discrimination in all its forms. “I am honored to have the endorsement of HRC in my re-election and look forward to working with them to ensure every Ohioan is treated equally and has the same opportunity to succeed,” he said.

HRC also wants to play a role in the 2024 elections, as the announcement said the group “will work to mobilize and energize Equality voters in Ohio to help Senator Brown win in 2024.”

A statement by Kelley Robinson, HRC chairwoman, also alludes to such plans, while also referencing the “Make America Great Again” slogan coined by Donald Trump and his supporters.

“Sherrod Brown has been a tireless advocate for all Ohioans and a champion of equality throughout his time in public service. From his work to expand access to health care to his unwavering support for LGBTQ+ rights, the senator is leading the way toward the future we all deserve, a future that isn’t “great again,” but better than ever before. We proudly support Senator Sherrod Brown in his re-election bid and look forward to rallying Ohioans to support him.” Robinson’s statement was released.

While such statements focus on issues such as efforts to “increase access to health care,” HRC endorses much radical ideas not mentioned in the release.

When it comes to “LGBTQ+ rights,” the group supports and aggressively pushes far-left policies such as “gender affirming surgery“ for underage children who may believe they are transgender. They also believed and propagated the lie that men could get pregnant. Last June, Robinson had a particularly ridiculous exchange with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) during a Senate hearing because she couldn’t even talk to “if there’s a difference between men and women.”

IN “2023 State Equality Index“, issued in January, HRC placed Ohio and 22 other states in the lowest category of so-called equality because it is part of the “High Priority in Achieving Basic Equality” category.

The report also deliberately singled out Ohio, lamenting that “both chambers of the Ohio Legislature overrode the governor’s veto of HB 68, a discriminatory, anti-transgender, anti-health care bill that likely forced some families to consider leaving the state out of necessity for their health and safety.” In slow January, the state Legislature overrode a veto from Republican Gov. Mike DeWine, and polls showed Americans supported the legislation that ultimately passed after the veto was overridden.

HRC was also involved in a memo promoting Cincinnati Public Schools’ practices in supporting underage students who identified as transgender.

The group’s hysteria is also expanding to a nationwide level, given that last June the group declared a modern “state of emergency” along with a 20-page report stating: “LGBTQ+ Americans under attack.“The group expressed particular concern about the situation of transgender Americans, including “transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming youth.”

HRC is a problematic group in another respect, however, because they oppose law enforcement under the guise of fancy terms such as “police reform“And”transformative changes in policing

On the abortion issue, the HRC was there significant supporter ballot initiative last November that legalizes abortion up to the point of birth in the state. Moreover, so-called “gender-affirming care” is not the only area where parental rights come into play, as the initiative allows minors to have abortions without parental consent. The initiative passed with help from groups like HRC and other powerful lobbying groups, as well as Brown’s support. Robinson also previously worked for the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

The U.S. Senate race in Ohio is indeed considered one of the states to watch because it is one of the “Drop it off”, along with Montana and Arizona. Ohio’s primary elections will be held on March 19, and then we’ll find out whether Brown will face businessman Bernie Moreno, Secretary of State Frank LaRose or state senator Matt Dolan in the November election.
