A republican state representative wants menstrual products forbidden in male rooms in Ohio.

Built in the budget 141 765-line, adopted by Ohio House passed last week, are two lines that are uncomplicated to miss:

“No government entity will place menstrual products in the male toilet of a public building.”

15 words are the latest anti-trans crusade Rep. Rodney Creech (R-West Alexandria), owner of a company dealing with a lawn living on his family farm and is currently taking the third term at home.

In February, Creech started to social media to say that he received “several connections and SMSs” from voters, warning him about the female product dispenser in the male room in the Dayton Public Library.

In need of “stopping and searching for yourself”, Creech visited the library and began taking pictures from the inside of the male room.

“I called the Dayton Metro Library and shared my fears with those from the community,” wrote Creech His post on Facebook. “I plan to meet them next week to remove these dispensers from the male room.”

Library officials Daily Daily News said That they met with Creech and with satisfaction they would take further dialogue with him, but their library will continue to provide hygiene products in their toilets.

Dissatisfied with this result, Creech decided to take action and on a larger scale. Creech submitted an amendment to the two -year state budget, prohibiting all public toilets of men in Ohio in possession of menstrual products.

“Thank you for leadership at home for adding my amendment to our budget account”, Creech Posted on social media on Saturday.

Many no budgetary items have been inserted into the proposed budget, including a language that there are only men and female sexes, a ban on access to LGBTQ+ library books for people under 18 years of age and to suspend state money from youth shelters that support transgender youthful people.

The budget now goes to the Ohio Senate for approval.

“I will work closely with the Senate to see it [this language] He stays inside – wrote Creech.

Creech is also a co -drinker of the bill addressed to transgender candidates, which would allow the Ohioans to register under any political party to question the candidate’s legitimacy to assume that they will not publicly mention their previous names of law. Creech defeated Bobbie Arnold, a transgender candidate, in the 2024 election.

Arnold said Creech’s thinking about menstrual products is miniature -sighted.

“There are many people who employ [these products] existence [in men’s rooms] In this fathers with daughters who may need them, women who enter men’s toilets when the lines are long for women, or maybe a husband who must support her disabled wife – said Arnold.

Ultimately, Arnold said, regardless of why menstrual products are present in men’s rooms, everyone deserves “the same dignity as everyone else”.

“Please, tell me who are hurting?” Arnold asked. “Why is Rodney such an important problem?” Ding
