This is not a banana republic. This is the United States of America.
Here we are at 400vol anniversary of the Mayflower Agreement (November 11, 1620) – the document that ushered in American democracy, culminating in the Constitution and our freedoms.
Yet the integrity of the elections is at risk. How we solve this problem may determine what kind of country we will become and what legacy we will leave to our children and descendants.
As one man put it, “The importance of getting it right outweighs the importance of rushing to judgment.” Who was that? Any Trump campaign jokes? No, it was actually former Clinton cabinet member Warren Christopher, who on November 11, 2000, spoke on behalf of the Gore campaign during the hotly contested Bush-Gore election.
The media, including Fox News, have already called the race Joe Biden. Many call him the “president-elect.” Wouldn’t it be more fair to call him “predicted president-elect” at best? Besides who died and gave media the power to decide who will be president?
I suppose there is always cheating in elections. Conservatives always seem to need a percentage or more of extra votes to counteract cheating. Hmmmm. If the left is so great, why does it have to cheat so often to win?
There are sedate and credible allegations of voter fraud in some key swing states. Swing states include Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Here are some examples:
•Trump attorney Sidney Powell in addition that they identified 450,000 AP ballots that had only Biden on them (and no votes for candidates in other offices).
•IN Pennsylvania840 voters were reportedly 101 years aged or older; 39 survived the Civil War; 45 people were born in the 19th century. They are among the more than 21,000 dead in Pennsylvania who reportedly voted. As some idiot remarked, “I see dead people voting.”
•Despite court orders, vote counters in Philadelphia and Detroit reportedly prevented Republican vote-count monitors from seeing the vote count. Moreover, in some cases workers boarded up windows, eliminating any semblance of transparency.
• Software “bug” in Michigan caused thousands of votes for Trump to be counted as votes for Biden. Ian Miles Cheong writes on Twitter (November 6, 2020): “Software used to tabulate votes in one county sent at least 6,000 Trump votes to Biden. 47 counties used the software. Other states may have it too. Was this a bug or a “feature”?”
Ohio congressman Jim Jordan he said“This is the first time in American history that a party has systematically pursued winning an election after the elections. This is what they are doing and it must be stopped.” [Emphasis added]
Perhaps the key motivation in all of this is the love of abortion. As Gary Bauer at American Values pointed out, if someone has no problem killing babies before birth (and in some cases even after), why would they have a problem cheating in elections?
Judge Darrell White is a conservative Christian and founder/director of Retired Judges of America. I once interviewed him for Christian television about America’s Christian heritage.
He told me, “Our founders were not atheists. They took an oath for their lives, fortune and sacred honor on their own behalf, but also on behalf of posterity. This is us and our grandchildren, and we hold to the truths of the Constitution and the sacred guarantees to which we are entitled as Americans. We hold them not as owners, but in trust. We are the next generation’s trustees” [Emphasis added]
As trustees, we have a responsibility to ensure that our national heritage and true trust in the polls are preserved. White adds that “our founders clearly had a biblical worldview,” a central element of which is a belief in “the notion of human depravity.”
The founders’ division of power was based on their knowledge of man’s sinfulness. James Madison, a key framer of the Constitution, put it succinctly: “All men in authority are to be distrusted.” This is not cynical. It is because of this view that we enjoy the freedom that we enjoy.
The day may come when we lose this freedom due to the monopoly on power of the ruling class, large tech (which systematically censors conservative and Christian content), and large media.
Because there are still many sedate and credible allegations of voter fraud, every American, including those across the aisle, should welcome this investigation to ensure it was a fair election.
Love him or hate him, Trump is fighting for our nation’s electoral integrity.
