Rising in the polls and oozing confidence, Republican Donald Trump filled New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden with cheering MAGA supporters on Sunday night in a historic effort to compete in blue territories and take control of the White House and Congress in just 10 days.
“I’m excited to return to the city I love” – 45th president, lifelong New Yorker he said a raucous crowd that was treated to an All-Star performance, from wrestler Hulk Hogan to Elon Musk, JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Echoing Ronald Reagan’s renowned 1980 question and hoping to repeat the historic 40th presidential election in 1984, Trump asked the audience a question that he believed would decide the election.
“I would like to start by asking a very simple question: Are you in a better situation than you were four years ago?” he asked, and the crowd roared “no.”
“I am here today with a message of hope for all Americans,” he added. “With your vote in this election, I will put an end to inflation. I will stop the invasion of criminals coming into our country. And I will bring back the American dream.”

Trump also unveiled a brand new policy, saying he would seek a new tax break for family members caring for loved ones.
“We will simply make America affordable again,” he said.
“Today I’m announcing a new policy where I will support tax relief for family carers who care for a parent or loved one. It’s high time they were appreciated,” he added.

The crowd went berserk even before Trump took center stage. Thousands of people who couldn’t get to the Garden lined the streets around it as Hogan ripped his shirt in his warm-up speech and embraced Democrats’ claims that Donald Trump is a fascist dictator.
– I don’t see any stinking Nazis here. I don’t see any stinking domestic terrorists here. All I see here is a group of hard-working men and women who are true Americans, brother,” Hogan said.

Fellow billionaire Musk, who has pledged to work with the Trump administration to transform the government, said voting for the GOP ticket would yield a clear result.
“We are going to get the government off your back and off your wallet,” Musk said.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was former first lady Melania. Trump appeared on the campaign trail to pay tribute to New York as the world’s “industrial capital.”
