Trump is moving further into “blue” America and vows to bring back California

by John Solomon

Former President Donald Trump continued his push toward a deep blue America on Saturday night, transforming the home of the iconic Coachella music festival into a sea of Republican red as he vowed to reverse California’s decline into an abyss of debt, illegal immigrants and crime.

“I promise you: November 5, 2024 will be American liberation day. Liberation Day. On the day of liberation, we will be liberated,” Trump told thousands gathered to meet him in California

“I will save California and every city in America that has been invaded and conquered. And we will put these cruel and bloodthirsty criminals in prison or throw them out of the country that is number 1,” he added.

Trump appeared in the Golden State a day after he traveled to deeply Democratic Colorado and promised to rid weary Aurora residents of brutal Venezuelan gangs.

Trump’s team has planned to push into blue territory both to build up power against struggling Kamala Harris in her home state and to rally Republicans in up for grabs House seats in hopes of taking full control of Congress in 2024.

During a Saturday evening speech, Trump linked California’s plight to policies that Harris advocated as coming from the liberal wing of Democrats.

“California is a lost paradise, but we are bringing it back,” he said. “California was a beacon of what our country aspired to be. It really was like that. He had everything. She had good weather. It contained water. The state had the best schools, safest communities, and a booming middle class.

“But all of this has been uprooted by decades of policies that Kamala Harris now wants to impose on America,” he added.
