Last Friday, Sarah covered reports that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had to operate the back door to leave Morton’s Steakhouse amid pro-abortion protests outside the restaurant. During Friday’s press conference, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to even condemn the protests.
However, this is a pattern from the White House. President Joe Biden himself has done little to address the persecution faced by conservative judges, which in the case of Judge Kavanaugh included a plot to assassinate him. The statements that have been made come from staff and are quite meager or even gaslit.
The only example seems to be his remarks a few hours after the overthrow of the U.S. Supreme Court Roe v. Wade via Dobbs v. Jackson decision.
“First of all, I call on everyone, no matter how much they care about this decision, for all protests to be peaceful. Calm, calm, calm. No intimidation. Violence is never acceptable. Threats and intimidation are not speech. We must oppose violence in any form, regardless of the reasons, said the president. He does not appear to have ever made any comments before or since to condemn the harassment and intimidation faced by conservative judges.
Over the weekend, Judge Kavanaugh was ridiculed by Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media, most notably Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)as well as POLITICO i Julia Ioffe from Puck News.
On Sunday, while the president was on another vacation in Delaware, the press managed to catch up with him what to ask protesters in front of the White House.
“Do you have a message, Mr. President, for the women who protested outside the White House? [Saturday]– asked the reporter.
“Yes. Keep protesting,” the president said, “Because continue to express your opinion. It’s extremely important.” He then renewed calls to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), which also turned into calls for electing more pro-abortion members of Congress, as the bill couldn’t even get a majority vote in Congress, let alone pass a filibuster what Biden says the legislation will not merely codify Roe, it would expand it and lead to the repeal of pro-life laws passed at the state level.
The president made no mention of conservative judges. He did not even call for the protests to be peaceful. He then continued his bike ride without any reporters asking him about Judge Kavanaugh or any other conservative justice.
DC shutdown he even offered pay people if they report observing one of their conservative judges, and pay them even more if justice is still visible 30 minutes later.
Tucker Carlson on his Friday night show you mentioned a clever suggestionwhen he announced that people should flood ShutDown DC with fake tips.
The restaurant where Justice Kavanaugh dined even faced backlash for daring to stand up for his client. As a result of Morton’s statement, the restaurant was flooded with fake reservations.
In a now-deleted tweet, Travis Allen posted about how he made a restaurant reservation for 20 people. Many others it hit Twitter laugh at fake bookings.

The refusal to condemn, and thus the act of encouragement, went beyond Friday’s press conference.
During his appearance in “Sunday Fox News,Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg could not have been more dismissive of the protests, which he even excused and suggested that Judge Kavanaugh deserved such treatment.
“Look, when public officials enter public life, we should expect two things. First, you should always be free from violence, harassment and intimidation. Second, you will never be free from criticism and peaceful protest, people are exercising their First Amendment rights,” the secretary said in his response.
But Judge Kavanaugh was she has experienced harassment and intimidation before. Buttigieg does not appear to have addressed or condemned the intimidation of conservative judges or even the assassination of Kavanaugh.
From there, Buttigieg’s response only got worse:
BUTTIGIEG: Remember that the justice system never even had any contact with these protesters, apparently never saw or heard them. And these protesters are upset because a right has been taken away from them, an important right that a majority of Americans support.
(Crosstalk)
BUTTITGIEG: By the way, not only the right to choose, but this justice was part of the process of stripping away the right to privacy.
For as long as I have been alive, it has been settled case law in the United States that the Constitution protects the right to privacy. And now it has been rejected by judges, including Justice Kavanaugh, who I remember swore before God and everyone, including the United States Congress, that they were going to leave the settled case law alone.
So yes, people are upset. They intend to exercise their First Amendment rights.
This came after his husband mocked the situation on Twitter on Friday, and his secretary was asked about it.
It seems he just wanted some privacy to make his own decisions about his meals. https://t.co/pAUiYqxIHT

Would you and your husband enjoy being chased out of a restaurant by a crowd? In DC – or in your new “home” state of Michigan? I’m sure there are people who would agree to this.
Is this where we want to go and what we want to celebrate? https://t.co/kE1gbZvXet

Overall, the Biden administration has done very little to support conservative judges, although the White House appears to want congratulations, as evidenced by last Friday’s press conference in which Jean-Pierre recalled that the president had signed a bill giving judges greater protection. But no mention was made of the fact that the bill had been held up for months by the Democrat-controlled House or that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) couldn’t have seemed any less interested.
Perhaps the gloves will come off if Republicans take control of Congress. As Kevin Daley reported for Washington Free Beacon Republicans have not ruled out impeaching Attorney General Merrick Garland over his inaction:
Rep. Jim Jordan (Ohio), who is expected to take control of the House Judiciary Committee if Republicans win in November, in an interview Slow warning signal in Washington. Jordan cited a range of alleged misconduct, from failure to enforce black-paper laws protecting clinics and the justice system to secret collusion with left-wing groups opposed to parents protesting curriculum changes.
“It will be a decision that the full conference will make,” Jordan said of the impeachment effort.
…
It is a federal crime to demonstrate outside a judge’s home with the intent to influence the proceedings. Regular pro-abortion demonstrations outside the homes of conservative judges seem to fit exactly this bill. As of this writing, the Department of Justice has not taken any action against the protesters. According to Fox News, local police told inquiring neighbors that federal agencies refuse to enforce anti-picketing laws in court. report.
…
Outside groups are also pushing GOP lawmakers for accountability. Mike Davis, president of the Article III Project, said there was sufficient cause to remove Garland from office. Davis was Grassley’s head of nominations during the Kavanaugh confirmation and led the outside support team during the confirmation of Justice Neil Gorsuch.
“When Republicans take back the House in January, they will have to impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland,” Davis said Free lantern. “They must face the consequences of his dangerous dereliction of duty, which led to very dangerous attacks on the Supreme Court of the United States.”
Yet such behavior is not that surprising from Democrats. During Monday’s episode of “The Five,” co-host Judge Jeanine Pirro suggested it was Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who in 2018 called on people to protest, harass and expel members of the administration when seen in public. Since then, the Democratic congresswoman has provided even more examples of inciting violence, including before the Supreme Court on June 24, shortly after the ruling Dobbs the decision has been issued.
