Former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021) on Thursday advocated for the death penalty for human traffickers of minors and women, as well as for large-scale drug dealers.
The New York tycoon told a rally in Arizona, on the Mexican border, that if he wins the Nov. 5 election, tougher sentences will be handed down to “illegal foreign criminals.”
According to local media“This includes a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison for anyone found guilty of human trafficking, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone found guilty of trafficking children, and the death penalty for anyone found guilty of trafficking children or women for sexual purposes,” the businessman said.
Trump also announced his intention to introduce the death penalty for large drug dealers.

“We will also impose the death penalty on anyone who kills our police officers, sheriffs, border agents or law enforcement officers. There will be a death penalty with a faster trial, not one that takes 15 years and exhausts everyone,” the White House candidate added.
If he defeats Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in November, Trump reiterated that the United States will “be great again.”
“We will rid our country of illegal immigrants, drug dealers, thieves, murderers, gang members and child predators. We will make America safe again for our citizens and we will make it bigger, stronger, better and more beautiful than ever before,” he concluded at the event, where he was protected by bulletproof glass.
