1:50 am: Republican Donald Trump is the next president of the United States after breaking through Democrat Hillary Clinton’s blue wall and winning a majority of votes on the electoral map. History has been made.
Trump currently has 254 electoral votes but will gain the necessary 270 when results are finalized. Clinton has just 218. Trump leads in Michigan and has already won Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The evening began in Florida, where Trump easily defeated Clinton despite the state’s high Latino voter turnout.

He moved to North Carolina and Ohio. Then he moved to states Clinton considered protected: Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Trump’s hidden voter, which was a controversial topic throughout the race, turned out to be a real phenomenon that gave Trump an advantage. Most of the polls, both state and national, were wrong. The media predicted that Clinton would dominate the electoral votes, but that did not happen.

No one can deny that tonight is a clear mandate from the country, especially from working-class voters.
