Democrats launched a “triple match!”

Democrats are nervous, excited, concerned, confident, depending on the day and time. When it comes to getting into stupid people’s wallets, there’s nothing they won’t do.

After this year’s off-year election, the Democrat machine hasn’t slowed down – they’re right back to begging for money and using the stupidest tactics to do it.

“Your gift is TRIPLE!” read the subject line of the email from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. How? They never speak.

They can’t tell because it’s a lie.

DSCC knows this is a lie, so without explanation it just includes a quick note, “Donate by midnight to triple your impact.” Does DSCC own a secret unicorn that eats dollar bills and throws out three more? It would be nice; we could pay off the debt if such a creature existed, but unicorns aren’t real, and neither is the math presented by the Democrats in this email about magically tripling your “gift.”

The urgency of the email is humorous because it’s mostly photos. Maybe the DSCC doesn’t think their constituents can’t read. Hell, maybe their voters can’t read – they probably “graduated” from Democrat-controlled public schools. It reads: “[Democrats] they currently occupy all the most competitive seats in the elections.” from blog 538, next year will feature photos of five Democratic senators: Rosen (NV), Tester (MT), Brown (OH), Baldwin (WI), and Casey (PA). All millionaires, all begging middle class Americans for money. Fooling them.

The email then includes a quote from Rachel Maddow: “If you have money to give, now is the time.” If this seems a bit odd – especially if you remember a time when networks considered themselves “news” organizations and demanded that the site NOT use them or their “talent” to raise money – you’re not alone. But you live in the past.

Yes, Rachel Maddow actually said that line, calling for donations, but she said it already in October 2020. Imagine how much worse and “laxer” the standards of journalism became in the following years MSNBC and NBC News.

Of course, Democrats are concerned. West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin announced he will not seek re-election to the Senate, which should mean an advantage for Republicans. I use the word “should” because no party in history has been as good at losing races it should have won as the Republican Party.

Two days before the Magic Game email, DSCC sent an email to Manchin. It read: “We won’t sugarcoat it, Derek. We are at a critical moment in the fight to defend our majority in the Senate. Republicans think they have all the momentum, but there are a few things they don’t know. They don’t know how strong our officials are in critical states like Montana and Ohio. They don’t know how close our fantastic Democratic challengers are to defeating toxic senators like Ted Cruz and Rick Scott.

Most importantly, they don’t know the strength of this grassroots team. It’s because of you that we’ve won victory after victory in the Senate, and because of you we’ll do it again – but only if everyone does their part. So please, Derek, we can’t wait another second: donate $5 (that’s $15) before MIDNIGHT to help us reach our $50,000 emergency response fundraising goal. Every dollar you contribute will TRIPLE and MAXIMIZE your impact in defending our razor-thin Senate majority.”

Again, they do not explain how this magical tripling occurs.

The next day came a reply to their last panicked email that read: “Derek – we had to make sure you saw this. We called on our citizens around the world to take action following Joe Manchin’s announcement that he will not seek re-election in 2024, but we have STILL failed to achieve our most important goal! Donations are pouring in, but there are just a few hours until midnight and we need your help to reach our fundraising goal of $50,000. Our Triple-Impact Match is still UNLOCKED, so please stand with your fellow Democrats and donate $5 to defend our razor-thin Senate majority.”

Smell the desperation. They are not desperate because they are worried about the elections, but because they always want more money. They are the embodiment of the lines from the song “Fortunate Son” which read: “And when you ask them, ‘How much should we give?’ Hoo, they only answer: “More, more, more, more.”

The forthright answer is nothing; give them absolutely nothing. Let them triple it.
