A up-to-date poll shows that a total of 52% of voters want former President Biden’s associates prosecuted for the alleged unauthorized employ of his AutoPen.
Rasmussen Reports published a survey on Monday, which found that 52% of voters believe Biden’s advisers should face criminal prosecution for unauthorized actions during his administration, with 32% disagreed and 17% unsure.
A total of 55% of likely voters said it was likely that while Biden was president, his White House staff used an automatic pen to sign documents without his knowledge or consent. Meanwhile, 33% do not believe this happened and 12% are not sure.
By party, 75% of Republicans, 36% of Democrats and 44% of unaffiliated voters said Biden’s associates should face criminal charges.
The poll follows a report last week by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that found that “as President Biden [mental and physical] “the condition worsened, his associates exercised presidential authority and facilitated executive actions without his direct authorization, including the misuse of autopen and failure to properly document decision-making processes.”
Formerly Rep. James Comer (R-KY-01). he said Only News that Biden’s autopen pardons should be “declared null and void.”
“All of this was done during the lame duck period when Joe Biden was deregistered. I believe the executive orders issued during the lame duck period should be declared null and void,” he said.
“I think every legal document the president should sign,” he told the outlet. “Of course, you will use the automatic pen for certificates of achievement, for mass letters and for correspondence. But for legal documents, a pardon, a presidential pardon, is powerful.”
The poll of 1,157 likely U.S. voters was conducted Oct. 28-30 with a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.
