There is a historic precedent for the Texas of the Democrats of the House of the House to refuse the Republicans of the quorum they need to take the order of President Trump and redraw Lone Star State congress map to move five places from Blue to Czerwony before next year’s intracerexiacs.

Some Texans fled to Illinois, where in December 1840 a 31-year-old representative of the state in Kentucky jumped out of the window to thwart the home quorum democrats needed to adopt a law undermining Bank Illinois, Whig Pet.

Solon’s name is Abraham Lincoln.

His unconventional exit went to nothing because he was present. Most Democrats have gathered a sufficient number of members per quorum, and the anti-cracitation act passed 46-15.

It is understandable that Lincoln jumped out of Illinois Statehouse, i.e. preserved As the ancient historical side of the Capitol. He didn’t. He released from the window of the church.

Springfield is the capital of Illinois. But at the end of 1840, the legislator met in the ancient first church of Methodists, while the working crews laid the final touches of the capitol at a distance of the fever. (The building was replaced by the current capital in 1876)

The church was too tiny and poorly prepared to accommodate legislators who “added to the confusion that Lincoln encountered as the leader of the Whig Minority party”, ” explains A plaque in the city center on the church.

Blue-Shamed “I’m looking for Lincoln” The tablet is entitled “Leaping Lincoln”.

On December 5, 1840, the democratic majority was approved by the Bank disturbance act. The Wigs decided to do little, thus preventing the quorum. “According to the plate, only Lincoln and a few lieutenants remain.”

When Lincoln and other Bigwigs discovered that the democrats finally had a quorum, ran to the door that was banned. In desperation Lincoln jumped, followed by Joseph Gillespie and Asahel Gridley.

State register, a pious democratic newspaper in Springfield, happily informed about this incident: “A entertaining circumstance took place, while Yeas and Nys were called during the resolution. Lincoln of Sangamon (Lincoln lived in Springfield, Sangamon County Seat), which was present during the whole scene, and which looked like in the whole scene, and who looked like the fiast House, he immediately looked at Gravea after the fact that it was found that the statement, that the statement was found, that it was found that it was found that it was found that it was present.

It was a window on the first floor, which is said to be only 4 or 5 feet from the ground.

According to the article: “This gymnastic performance of Mr. Lincoln and his flying brothers only occurred after the vote! And therefore the house did not disturb their extraordinary feat.”

The state register admitted: “We did not find out if these flying members were injured in their adventure, and we think it is likely that one of them fell without damage, because it was noted that his legs reached almost from the window to the ground!”

The article was additionally pulled out 6 feet-4 Lincoln, declaring that he heard “that the resolution would probably be introduced into the house this week to ask about the desirability of raising the house one story above, so that the house in the third story! To prevent members from jumping out of the window! If such a resolution agrees, Mr. Lincoln will be in the future to go down!”

The plaque also says that “ashamed Lincoln Ever After was not similar to what he called” jumping scape “. “But he recently made it laugh 20 years later, when voters of the free state sent him to the White House. (Surlyy was only 1366 votes in Kentucky State Slave.)

Historians occupy the “great emancipator” as one of our greatest presidents because he led the relationship to victory in the civil war and bends slavery. (Illinois Towns were named after Gillespie and Gridley.)
