I really don’t care who the nominee is

There is a lot of infighting going on in the Republican Party right now, as there is during every primary season. Camps are forming around the various candidates and non-candidates, with wishes being made for each camp, including many that seem downright crazy – honestly, is there anyone even remotely affiliated with the GOP who is NOT named Cheney and thinks that Liz Cheney should run away somewhere aside? out of town” or on the treadmill?

Personally, I don’t care. I have my preferences, but I have been, and will forever remain, a forceful supporter of voting “for anyone but a Democrat,” above all else.

I take comfort in knowing that the candidate won’t be just any person. As crazy as it may seem, some Iowans voted for Asa Hutchinson (191 lost souls, to be exact) and even fewer voted for Chris Christie, who withdrew from the race a week earlier.

Shocking as it seems, Ryan Binkley got more votes than Hutchinson and Christie combined, by more than three times – 774. Why and how, I have no idea. If by some miracle he won the nomination, I would vote for him with the biggest smile on my face possible.

Why? It’s not because I’m unprincipled – I honestly don’t know what Binkley stands for, nor do I care – I’m just principled, and my principles tell me that every Republican is better than every Democrat. There is no room for hesitation on this matter.

Does this mean there are no good Democrats out there? Yes, there are actually no good Democrats there. Some Democrats aren’t as bad as others, but ultimately it’s like defending Fidel Castro by saying, “At least he’s not as bad as Hitler!”

All Democrats are terrible; some people just suck a little less than others. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, for example, is semi-rational about supporting Israel and at least recognizes the need for border security, and what Joe Biden did is not that. Would Dr. Oz be better as a senator? Yes. Skokowo? Probably not, but better is better.

So it doesn’t matter to me who, after all this mess of basic legal battles and whatever else happens (because honestly, would anyone be surprised if ten different Earth-shattering events happened between now and the summer?) m for the candidate Republicans.

Donald Trump? I’m in.

Nikki Haley? I’m in.

Ron DeSantis? I’m in.

A pile of saturated newspapers? I’m in.

Of course, I’d be more excited about the prospect of some more than others, but any of them are better than Grandpa-Shower-With-Daughter and his sidekick Willie Brown.

By the way, this rule applies to everyone voting. I don’t care who runs for Congress, mayor or school board; any Republican, no matter who they supported or opposed, as long as they are a candidate, is better than any Democrat.

I support candidates who oppose open borders and will not even associate themselves with the party that supports them. I support a candidate who opposes sexual mutilation of children. I stand with candidates who look at graphic depictions of sex in books in elementary school libraries and shudder in disgust at people who would buy sex instructional cartoons for their children in the name of “celebrating diversity.”

If for what you stand for, ten years ago, an livid parent would have kicked your ass and no jury, at least then, would have been able to convict them, I am against you. And while some Republicans aren’t as forceful as they should be on these issues – looking at you, Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio – they are few and far between, while prioritizing perversion over education is a pillar of the Democratic Party Now.

If you have the support of “educators” who are forced to tell children about their sex lives or who look to children for confirmation of their mental delusions, I am against you. And I will always be against you.

I’m not alone; I’m not special. So, whoever you support or support in this process, get the anger that has been necessarily instilled in us out of your system and get ready to kill the Democrats. Supporters of any candidate can be very nasty; some people just don’t have the idea or ability to turn it off or mitigate it. Ignore them. This fight is bigger than some random asshole on Twitter who will never kiss a girl; it’s about saving the country from the rotten destruction of the Democrats.

I am glad that there is a fight for the leadership of the party; I believe this fight must be fought, but only after the left has been defeated. Then he plays on. Until then, focus on our real enemy.
