Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) is convinced that she will be another speaker of the chamber for the next Congress. The democratic club votes at the end of the month, and there is a growing wing of the Democrats never Nancy, who are obliged to oppose her efforts to recover the hammer. They will not bury. Until now, 17 Democrats have promised that they did not support the offer of liberal California – and some do it, knowing well that revenge from older parties can be brisk and demanding (through Washington Examiner):
Seventeen Democrats formally promise on Monday for voting against Nancy Pelosia to become a home speaker, great, which escapers hope to refuse her a hammer of the speaker and forced her to leave.
In a letter that will be sent to their democratic colleagues, 17 Democrats undertake to oppose Pelosia in voices in the club and floors for the speaker. The transfer to Ousta Pelosia takes place two weeks after the Democrats took control of the house with the largest majority since 1974.
“We promised to change the status quo and we intend to fulfill this promise,” wrote a group of insurgents in a letter obtained by Washington Examiner. “That’s why we are involved in voting for new leadership both at our club meeting and on the floor of the house.”

Rep. Fudge was mentioned as a potential candidate for opposing Pelosia in the Speakership race. Pelosia remains unmoved, sure that she will become another speaker. However, it seems that the party’s elites exist some fears that it could spill into the open war. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-D -D) has already sent a letter encouraging to the party to return Pelosia To avoid a brave leadership battle. It looks like the elements are there. The wing never remains defiant, united, and have a potential candidate. By the way, the wick and Pelosia, although the first did not decide if he really wants to run. However, Congressmen from Ohio mentioned that if voting for House speaker took place now, Pelosia would not have votes (through Politico):
Nancy Pelosia sat face to face with her potential pretender, Rep. Marcia Fudge from Ohio, on Friday, when the California Democrat continued to fight to recover the speaker’s hammer.
Two women curled up at the request of the upcoming supervision of the House and the government chairman of the Elijah Cummings Reform Committee (D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D.), a key ally Pelosia and a senior member of the Black Kauck Congress, who is also close to the fudge, former chairman of the CBC.

Fudge did not formally announce its candidacy. But even floating as a potential pretender claimant, Pelosi’s effort to block 218 votes needed to win. The wick would be the first black woman in leadership and the first African -American speaker.
Knot said many times on Friday that Pelosia has no votes to win the fight with speaking on the floor, stating: “If the vote was taken today, there are no votes to become a home speaker. I don’t think I do now. “
Before meeting Pelosia, Fudge suggested that she would definitely take or run. Democrats are to nominate the speaker at a club meeting closed on November 28, after returning from the recess for thanksgiving.
But although many expected that fudges would want to vote in voting, Fudge said that he could wait to announce his offer until Pelosia probably won the democratic nomination. Pelosia needs only half of the democratic club in this vote. The more complex test takes place on January 3 on the floor of the house, where 218 votes are required – or most of these members – and Pelosia has little space for a mistake.
Three home races should still be called, but for now the democrats have collected 37 places in mid -2018. They will come to the fresh congress with 232 members. There are 17 removes, and 198 Republicans of course did not vote for Pelosia. You are doing mathematics.

UPDATE: Public opposition is growing?
Rachael Bade from Politico talks about the offer of Nancy He is now “threatened”Nothing is certain.
.@Nancypelosi He has a problem with mathematics: 15 members or electrics claims that they will not vote for it. At the moment he can only lose 15 on the floor. If DS receives the last 3 places, it may lose 18

Update II: The wick is not signing, mulbying the decision to formally lead against Pelosia (via via Wapo):
Sixteen houses Democrats said on Monday that they would vote for the refusal of Rep. Nancy Pelosi, another place as a House speaker, a show of rebellion that puts her opponents on the popularity of forcing the seismic leadership when their party is preparing for the majority.
[…]
Signators may not be able to force Pelosia alone. According to The Associated Press, the size of the democratic majority remains in the flow, but the Democrats have already gained 232 seats, with five races.
All these breeds have Republican, but the democratic pretender is in front of one of them. If the current leads remain in uneven races, the Democrats would win 233 seats-16 people.
This means that Pelosia may lose as many as 15 democratic votes when he stands at the election as a speaker on January 3. One of the 16 signatures, Ben McAdams (Utah), is now the following representative of Mia Love (R-Utah) and may never vote for the speaker.
Without signing the letter, there is a representative of Marcia L. Fudge (D-Ohio), who publicly opposed Pelosia and now thinks about her. The client said on Friday that she would not make a final decision to launch until the next week at the earliest.

Another five Democrats-REP. Conor Lamb (Pa.) And Rep. Elect Jason Crow (Colo.), Jared Golden (Maine), Miki Sherrill (NJ) and Abigail Spanberger (Va.) that there are decisive statements. He would not vote for Pelosia, but he did not sign a letter.
