Former chairwoman of the Republican Party in Ohio, Jane Timken, designated to open the seat of the State Senate

The former chairwoman of the Republican Party in Ohio, Jane Timken, was appointed in a free place in the Senate of State. The north-eastern district of Ohio has no representation since death in November Kirka Schurgga, a legislator with thirty years of experience.

Schuring was loved by members on both sides of the passage.

Timken grew up in Cincinnati, but lives in the canton region, currently she is a member of the RNC committee in Ohio and former chairwoman of the Ohio Republican party.

“I am incredibly honored that I can represent the Stark and 29. District and follow in the footsteps and heritage of the achievements left by my good friend Kirk Schurg,” said Timken in a press release sent by GOP Senate Ohio.

For years, Timken also served the state party as a vice -chairman. She also worked as a room judge in the Universal Court of Stark. In 2022, she ran for the US Senate, having the support of former senator Rob Portman.

Recently, she was considered as a candidate for a free place in the US Senate previously occupied by vice president JD Vance. Instead, the meeting went to Lieutenant Jon Husted.

“Jane has a good chance to replace the legendary Kirk Schurgg, but I have no doubt that he will be a fantastic senator in the 29th district,” said in a statement the chairman of the Senate Rob McColley (Napoleon). “Jane Timken is a proven conservative who brings a unique set of skills in the field of economic development, public policy and politics to the Senate. I am sure that she will be an outstanding advocate of all Ohio residents. “

She studied at Harvard and then obtained a doctor of legal sciences at the American University Washington College of Law.

Timken’s is a great brand in the north-east Ohio. Her husband is the former CEO of Metallus, previously known as Timkensteel, a gigantic company producing Stal based in Stark.
