Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the clear winners in the Democratic and Republican primaries in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, but Vice President Joseph Biden is doing as well or better than Clinton against leading Republicans in the general election in these key swing states, according to Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released today.

However, Hillary Clinton loses in Florida to Republicans Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Donald Trump. Clinton and Trump have the highest unfavorability and credibility ratings, according to the poll.

“Vice President Joseph Biden, as he spends time in isolation considering whether to challenge Secretary Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary, has some new information to consider,” Quinnipiac University deputy director of polls Peter Brown said of the poll. “In head-to-head matches with the top three contenders for the Republican nomination, she does as well or slightly better than she does.”

The biggest victory was achieved by Joe Biden, who is being seriously scrutinized by Democrats amid Hillary Clinton’s ongoing email scandal and his failures as a presidential candidate. This poll proves he can win, giving him more incentive to enter the race and donors and voters to leave Clinton behind.

Biden is currently on vacation in South Carolina with his family and will decide by October 1 whether he will run for the White House.
