Democrats couldn’t be more tone-deaf on the issue of parents’ rights, as they repeatedly try to claim that parents’ children are not actually their own. Chief among them is White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who is now making headlines for her remarks at this weekend’s GLAAD Media Awards in which she claimed that other people’s children are “our children” and “belong to all of us.”
In tirades against “anti-transgender community” laws. while talking to JezebelJean-Pierre said that “it matters because we have to speak out about it,” emphasizing that the amount of regulation “is historic.”
“Over the last few months, I have met many parents of transgender children who have told me these devastating stories,” as she lashed out at Texas and Oklahoma, which protect minors from procedures they cannot legally consent to. Parents in these and other states now say they “must seriously consider leaving their state to protect their child.”
Jean-Pierre not only stated that “it’s something that we To have scream and continue to be clear about “what these babies are like” but choked up when she dared to say “these are our children” and “they belong to all of us.”

In addition to the dangerous implications Jean-Pierre’s comments have for parents’ rights, it is tragic that he talks about parents “protecting their child” when that means subjecting them to puberty-blocking drugs and hormone therapy, as well as horrific procedures including genital mutilation and sterilization.
Moreover, recognizing that “these are children,” Jean-Pierre should have known better than to subject them to such medical abuse.
Perhaps the silver lining for Jean-Pierre and other Democrats who are “very clear” on such a risky narrative is that such transparency could wake up voters, especially parents, and empower them to vote in a way that actually “protects their children.” ” .”
Education and parental rights were top issues in Virginia’s 2021 statewide election, in which Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin defeated former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat. McAuliffe he infamously stated during a September 2021 debate that “I don’t think parents should tell schools what to teach.” These issues continue to matter as Republicans look to regain control of the state Senate as well as retain control of the state House of Delegates.
The remarks, truncated by RNC Research, drew ire from Catholic Vote, Protect Women Ohio and Do Not Harm’s Dr. Stanley Goldfarb.
Evil. These children belong to their parents, not to you. From schools to ballot proposals to gender counseling, the Biden administration is working to destroy the role of parents at every turn. https://t.co/PgPZHgfYNM

This comes after President Biden said, “there is no such thing as other people’s children. They are all our children.”
No, absolutely not.

“Mrs. Jean-Pierre is right that the state plays an important role when it comes to children. This role involves protecting children from child abuse and from their own inability to make good judgments. That’s why children can’t drive, can’t smoke and can’t vote, Dr. Goldfarb said. “The idea that children can make informed judgments about changing their bodies and their reproductive future suggests that adults, especially those in health care, who support so-called gender, affirming care, betrays these children.”
Last October, Vice President Kamala Harris continued to believe that America’s youth are “our children” while appearing on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

President Joe Biden himself also made some chilling remarks on the subject. Just last month, during the National and State Teacher of the Year ceremony, he quoted the words of the teacher who received the award: “There is no such thing as someone else’s child.” There is no such thing as someone else’s child. All our nation’s children are our children.”

Jean-Pierre also admitted that she used her huge platform to speak out on the topic.
“I have called out these legal acts many times on the podium. “I have tried my best to reach out to the transgender community and the LGBTQ+ committee from the podium to let them know what this administration intends to continue to do, which is to fight, support them and continue to support them as they go through a truly devastating and terrifying time,” Jean also said. Pierre according to Jezebel interview transcript.
These remarks were quite similar to Jean-Pierre’s laments from the podium in slow March, when she said that “our whole hearts go out to these – the trans community, because they are under attack right now.” Her comments came days after Audrey Hale, who identified as transgender, shot and killed six people, including three children, at Covenant School.

Not only did Jean-Pierre rely on such a hysterical narrative, but she was also deceived by reckless abandon. Her claims from the podium last month that Florida’s parental rights in education law stated that “under threat of having their licenses revoked, gay teachers were forced to remove photos of their spouses from their desks and censor school materials” – had previously been fact-checked and were accompanied by notes from the community.

Jean-Pierre’s predecessor, Jen Psaki, also gave media interviews last April in which she tearfully and hysterically criticized Florida’s regulations.
Jean-Pierre concluded her interview by saying she wanted to mislead children who might think they were experiencing gender dysphoria by telling them they had a “superpower.” As the Jezebel article put it, Jean-Pierre was speaking to “trans girls in particular” when she delivered the message that “we love you, we see you, be who you are. It’s important to be who you are and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise because that’s your superpower.”
