Our President, a pathological liar

The unhappy reality is that United States President Joe Biden is a pathological liar. This is not a novel personality trait of our Commander-in-Chief, but a trait that has been evident throughout his 52-year political career.

Biden has been telling lies for decades, including massive untruths. This is the main reason he had to leave the 1988 presidential campaign. He lied about his law school grades and plagiarized speeches by UK Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock.

Biden regularly lies about his childhood, family, academic career and his achievements as a politician.

Does anyone really believe that as a newborn lifeguard he had to deal with a “bad guy” named “Corn Pop” who had a “bunch of bad boys” armed with “straight razors”? Biden claimed he used a six-foot chain to force the gang to leave the country.

Biden plays tough and boasts that in high school he would take Donald Trump “behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

He likes to embellish his career as a college football player and he lied about being on the University of Delaware team that defeated the Ohio Bearcats. He said he left the band to date the woman who became his first wife, but was instead forced to leave due to penniless conditions grades.

This week, Biden told a series of irreconcilable lies. During a town hall meeting with U.S. veterans in Delaware, Biden told the story of awarding the Purple Heart to his uncle, Frank Biden. He said his uncle served heroically in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II and earned a Purple Heart but never received it.

He announced that he “gave” his uncle a Purple Heart after he was elected vice president in 2008. Biden said he handed them to his uncle in front of family members. According to Biden, his uncle did not want the award because “others died, I survived, I don’t want it.”

Of course, as usual, Biden’s story is false. His uncle Frank Biden died 1999nine years before being elected vice president. Moreover, as he noted New York Post Office“Frank Biden’s gravestone does not identify him as a Purple Heart recipient, nor does his obituary. The partial registry of known Purple Heart recipients also does not record anyone by that name receiving the award.

In the same speech, Biden insulted the Irish people and the country’s descendants living in America by stating, “I may be Irish, but I’m not stupid.” So he thinks the Irish are “stupid?” Isn’t this an example of hate speech?

He then tried to show his ties to Italy, claiming: “I married Dominic Giacoppa’s daughter. Well, I have a little bit of Italian in me now, you know.” However, his wife’s father was Donald Jacobs of New Jersey. This was her great-grandfather, Domenic Giacoppo, who immigrated to America from Italy.

In the same speech, Biden lied about the number of visits to Iraq and Afghanistan. He said he had been to these combat areas “38, 39 times.” Unfortunately, this is another lie he has told in the past. His campaign had to admit that he had only visited these areas 21 times.

Biden also lied when he said he visited Iraq and Afghanistan “twice” as president. As reported Daily Mail.he last visited Iraq in 2016 and Afghanistan in 2011, well before he assumed the presidency in 2021.

The president often lied about the tragic death of his son Beau Biden. He died of brain cancer in the United States, but President Biden said he died in “Iraq.”

Biden likes to identify with his audience and will create lies to connect. For example, during a trip to Puerto Rico, he stated that he was raised in Delaware as a member of the “Puerto Rican community.” Of course, the Puerto Rican community in Delaware when Biden was growing up was infinitesimally tiny.

Biden lied about being “appointed” to the Naval Academy and working as a truck driver. He also created a false history as a protester against injustice. He fabricated arrests in this country as a civil rights protester and in South Africa as a Nelson Mandela activist.

In September, Biden told Jewish leaders that he visited the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh after the 2018 anti-Semitic terrorist attack that killed 11 People. However, he never visited the synagogue and only called the rabbi in 2019.

Addressing hurricane victims in Florida, Biden lied about the effects of lightning striking his home in Delaware 15 years ago. According to Biden, the strike left “everything ruined” and “we almost lost some firefighters.”

At the time of the incident, Related press reported that the impact was minimal, “no one was injured” and the strike only caused “a small fire that engulfed the kitchen.” Press reports indicated that the fire inside had been brought under control 20 minutes.

According to conservative commentator Deroy Murdoch, Biden is either a “pathological liar” or “even worse, maybe he really believes that these non-events actually happened. If so, he’s living in a complete fantasy.

Unfortunately, Biden’s lies are becoming more habitual and more disturbing. The United States has a president who cannot distinguish fiction from reality.

This crisis, given the president’s power and the array of issues facing our nation, including an invasion of our southern border, a delicate economy and the ongoing war in Ukraine, has some military experts worried about the prospect of nuclear war.

It is too perilous to burden the United States with such a president. If he does not resign, Republicans will have to start impeachment proceedings when they take control of the U.S. House of Representatives in January.
