The House Judiciary GOP already has a plan in mind to hold the Justice Department accountable when it takes control

House Republicans are heavily favored to win today’s midterm elections, and party members are among those who expect their party to win. They are so confident that Republicans sat on the House Judiciary Committee on Friday released a report of 1,050 pages,FBI whistleblowers: What their disclosures indicate about the politicization of the FBI and the Department of Justice

As the statement from minority committee members explains, there is a wide range of alleged corruption, covering many issues. Key findings include:

  1. FBI leadership is abusing its law enforcement powers for political reasons.
  2. The FBI artificially inflates and manipulates domestic violent extremism statistics for political purposes.
  3. The FBI is downplaying and limiting the dissemination of stern misconduct allegations against Hunter Biden.
  4. The Department of Justice and the FBI are using counterterrorism resources to target parents who oppose a far-left educational program.
  5. The FBI is abusing its foreign surveillance authorities.
  6. The Justice Department and the FBI launch an unprecedented raid on the former president’s home.
  7. The FBI stalks a Republican congressman on a family vacation to seize his personal cell phone.
  8. The Department of Justice and the FBI continue to allow unabated attacks on pro-life facilities and churches while pushing an anti-life agenda.
  9. The FBI conducts an “intelligence” assessment of a conservative charity under the guise of investigating unrelated alleged crimes.
  10. The FBI purges employees who refuse to conform to management’s political ideology.
  11. The FBI helps Big Tech censor Americans’ political speech.

Republicans in both chambers have already tried to contact the Justice Department about many of these issues, and many of them came up when FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in August, shortly before the Mar-a- FBI raided Lago .

Last year, the Department of Justice not only worked with school board associations to target parents as “domestic terrorists,” but continued to cover it up, and members of the Democratic Judiciary Committee they even lied about it.

Recently, the Department of Justice targeted pro-life activists, and violent pro-abortion extremists escaped. House and Senate Republicans sent letters to the Justice Department demanding answers about pro-life arrests.

As we reported earlier on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre rejected this information and even lied about it during Monday’s press conference.

The Biden administration has made a huge talk about alleged threats from domestic terrorism. As it turns out, the FBI is inflating its numbers when it comes to domestic violent extremism statistics.

Censorship by Big Tech is another problem, even after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has disbanded its disinformation commission, at least for now. The White House also reportedly cooperated with Big Tech. Earlier this month, J.D. Vance, the Republican candidate for Senate in Ohio, shared at a Fox News town hall that Big Tech is the biggest threat to American democracy.

While this comprehensive report may seem extensive, it is only the first of many. “This report provides the first comprehensive account to date of FBI problems that undermine the FBI’s core law enforcement mission,” he explains.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the committee’s ranking member, appeared on “Fox & Friends” this morning to discuss the report. In response to co-host Katie Pavlich’s question about accountability, Jordan stated that “our job is to give the American people the facts” and emphasized that the report “shows how bad things have gotten at the FBI and the Department of Justice,” adding that everything is driven by politics these days.

Although Jordan maintained that “we live in the greatest country of all time,” he warned that “America is not America if the Department of Justice treats people differently under the law.” The congressman emphasized that “it is supposed to be equal treatment under the law,” which “is not the case”; as he claims, “they know this isn’t happening because 14 brave FBI agents came to us as whistleblowers and told us what exactly was going on here.”

In addition to the concerns mentioned above, Jordan warned that one whistleblower has reported that he is also getting rid of conservative operatives.

That same day, Rep. Jordan also tweeted a call for FBI officials to talk to Congress if they had any relevant information. The report made it clear that the problem did not lie with the employees. “The problem is not with the majority of front-line agents who serve our country, but with the politicized bureaucracy of the FBI,” it says.

The report has largely sparked speculation about an investigation once Republicans actually take over the House, which again is almost certain. Before welcoming Rep. Jordan, “Fox & Friends” co-host Will Cain mentioned that the report was “just a preview of what the GOP-controlled majority may discover from the administration as the term ends.”

Dustin Jones’ headline for NPR on Friday also read:Judiciary Republicans suggest investigating the FBI and Justice Department if they retake the House

The Jones Report mentioned that Rep. Jordan on November 2nd sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and letter to Director Wray asking for documents relating to the committee investigations that will undoubtedly take place. The deadline to respond is November 16.

Last November, in an interview, Rep. Jordan told Townhall that he planned to become committee chairman if Republicans actually took over the House.
