Remember President Joe Biden’s Disinformation Management Council? It was so ridiculed that the administration quickly restricted it and then shut it down. But beware, Biden is resorting to more covert methods – a massive censorship operation in cahoots with Silicon Valley – to tighten the screws on what Americans can say. All of this is justified by false FBI statistics that show an enhance in domestic violence and terrorism.
A report released Nov. 4 by Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee shows the deception the FBI is using to justify Biden’s police speeches. The chilling report documents, along with whistleblower testimony, the FBI’s role in silencing opponents of the left.
Republicans, who are likely to win a majority in the House of Representatives, promise to expose Biden’s censorship and FBI lies.
According to the report, federal officials at the White House, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and throughout the Biden administration met behind closed doors with executives from Facebook, YouTube and other social media to decide what to remove and who to muzzle.
And that’s just for starters. To support the Biden administration identify and crack down on political critics, Facebook is effectively providing the FBI with a steady stream of private information about its users, according to a whistleblower at the agency. Be careful what you post. You’re inviting the FBI into your life.
The Republican’s report says the FBI is “rotten at the core.”
The report alleges that the FBI and Facebook have a “special” bilateral relationship. On the one hand, Facebook provides a portal through which government officials can only send Facebook emails flagging content they want hidden. On the other hand, Facebook gives the FBI information about its users, providing information that the FBI would otherwise be unable to obtain without sidestepping legal hurdles.
To justify this strict monitoring of Americans, the agency “artificially inflates statistics on domestic violent extremism, pressuring pressure agents to retrain their investigations.” The Biden administration says domestic violence is increasing “significantly” when it is not. The agency creates a “misleading narrative that domestic terrorism is organically spreading throughout the country.”
A House Republican victory would put the GOP in charge of the House Judiciary Committee with subpoena power. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who would become chairman of the committee, promises to conduct a full investigation. Not a minute too soon. As Jordan’s report reminds us, “The FBI has the power to literally ruin a person’s life.”
Biden also transformed the Department of Homeland Security into a “taxpayer-funded censorship campaign,” according to a Nov. 3 letter from Republican members of the House Oversight Committee to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He says DHS is focusing on “political speech unfavorable to the administration, particularly related to its COVID-19 policies.”
DHS’s strategy for the coming years, included in its draft Quadrennial Homeland Security Review, includes suppressing “inaccurate information” on topics ranging from the origins of Covid-19 to the current war in Ukraine. The Disinformation Management Council has greater powers.
You thought DHS was supposed to protect Americans. Under the Biden administration, DHS is ordered to muzzle half of us.
The attorneys general of Louisiana and Missouri are suing the Biden administration for censorship, naming at least 67 Biden officials as defendants in collusion with Facebook, YouTube and, until recently, Twitter.
A Republican takeover of the House will move the action from the courtroom to Congress as Republicans take control of the House Oversight Committee and bring this secret censorship plan to its attention.
