While raging wildfires in California have sent plumes of smoke as far as Kansas, a Biden-Harris mandate would expand his political power into the Midwest as well. California politicians are plundering Central America, and putting Kamala Harris as shadow president would reach even further into the pockets of Midwesterners.
California already controls the House of Representatives through Nancy Pelosi as speaker. Pelosi from San Francisco effectively holds the purse strings for our entire Nation and can shut down the government until she gets what she wants.
On the other side of the Capitol, both California senators sit on the powerful Judiciary Committee, where they brutalized Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh before his confirmation in 2018. Dianne Feinstein is the oldest serving U.S. senator and one of its most influential members.
Selecting the Biden-Harris ticket would also place a liberal Californian politician in the White House three times. Given Joe Biden’s dwindling prospects, this would effectively put the far leftists who run the San Francisco-based Big Tech industry in charge of the nation.
Oh, to the Midwest, if that happens. California politicians are already moving wealth and jobs away from Rust Belt states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. Shutdowns during the coronavirus pandemic have energized Big Tech, forcing people to rely more on the Internet while hurting automakers, which have had to close their factories and suffer declines in sales.
Radical environmentalists would expand their reach if Democrats win in November, and they have already forced the transfer of billions from the heartland to California. Biased global warming regulations that penalize some pollutants in favor of others have caused Detroit automakers to pay billions to electric car maker Tesla in regulatory credits.
California is home to some of the richest corporations in the world, including Apple, Google, Facebook and now Tesla, whose stock market value is higher than that of all other automakers combined. Michigan’s auto industry should not be forced to give Tesla billions of dollars based on flawed climate change regulations.
The batteries needed for electric cars cause as much pollution as classic cars, but produce different toxins. Batteries require infrequent metals that are mined in environmentally harmful ways, and both the production and disposal of batteries pollute our narrow water resources more than classic cars.
West Virginia voters got the message about how radical environmentalists were costing their jobs, and Trump carried the former Democratic state by a whopping 42 percent in 2016. Ohio voters also woke up to the damage done to their economy by liberal elites, and last time Trump exceeded that amount by eight percent.
Near, Faces of Pennsylvania many of the same energy problems as West Virginia and Ohio. A Chamber of Commerce study estimates that 609,000 jobs in Pennsylvania depend on fracking, and if fracking were banned, the cost of living would raise by $4,654 a year, as Kamala Harris promised last year.
Joe Biden, or “Hiden” as Trump calls him for hiding in his home for months during the coronavirus pandemic, was born and raised in Pennsylvania and thus enjoys a lead of several percentage points. But the economic damage of stopping Pennsylvania’s growing energy industry could become a 10-point issue on Election Day.
Another way Californians are taxing the Midwest is through litigation, in which liberals gather message boards to file a petition in federal court in San Francisco for a Democratic-appointed judge. That’s what plaintiffs’ lawyers did when they robbed the 120-year-old Midwestern company Monsanto, now owned by Bayer.
Lawsuits over Roundup, Monsanto’s effective weed killer widely used by farmers and homeowners, are depriving workers and shareholders mostly outside the jurisdiction of California courts of more than $12 billion. This money enriches liberal lawyers, and some of it goes into politics to defeat Republican candidates for office.
When Kamala Harris former California attorney general, she aggressively harassed out-of-state companies to force them to pay huge fees for the mistake of selling products in a liberal state. In 2016, it shook up Volkswagen for a shocking $14.7 billion. It then allocated $2.7 billion of that to an “Environmental Mitigation Projects Trust Fund,” which funds environmental groups looking for the next target to eliminate.
Many of these targets are Midwestern companies that bring much-needed manufacturing jobs to the heartland. President Trump added more than 300,000 manufacturing jobs to our economy after Obama-Biden caused the loss of hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs that Biden defiantly claimed would never come back.
On Monday, the S&P 500 index refused to include the Californian company Tesla, causing its shares to plummet. California environmentalists, through Biden-Harris, are also unworthy of controlling the White House.
