Swamp creatures are fleeing to the Democratic Party

President Trump has clearly made good on his promise to “drain the swamp” in Washington – desperate for a up-to-date home, former Republican swamp creatures are taking refuge in the Democratic Party.

On the first night of the Democratic National Convention, four so-called “Republicans” publicly expressed their opposition to President Trump, abandoning the principles they once claimed to believe in and fully accepting the Democratic Party’s mandate and radical agenda.

One of them was former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who never got over his humiliating rejection by GOP voters in the 2016 presidential primary and spent years casting aspersions against Donald Trump and his administration in a desperate attempt to gain prominence or the least attention. That didn’t work out particularly well, so Kasich took off his GOP mask and went all-in with Biden, finally getting the headlines he was looking for.

“Joe Biden is the man for our times, times that require all of us to take off our partisan hats and put our nation first for ourselves and, of course, our children” – Kasich he said at the convention, clearly relishing the chance to grab a few moments in the spotlight.

Like other establishment politicians, Kasich tried to stick to nonsense platitudes. But he’s clearly inexperienced when it comes to appealing to leftists, because his mention of putting our nation first undoubtedly drew groans from liberals across the country who recognized it for what it was: a blatant rip-off of Donald Trump’s “America First” brand. The difference between Kasich and Trump is that while the “America First” language is simply something Kasich adds to his speeches to give them a patriotic flavor, it is a fundamental guiding principle throughout President Trump’s administration.

Former New York Rep. Susan Molinari was another swamp creature who traded policy for publicity by addressing the DNC.

“I also met Joe Biden and worked with him on women’s issues that are important to all of us – women in business, violence against women,” she added. he said at the event.

Let’s start with the obvious – it’s impossible to objectively discuss Biden’s record on women’s issues without first discussing his long history of disturbing behavior toward women. Please note that the former vice president is currently facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct from women accusing him of touching them inappropriately. Some of these women are even committed Democrats and have no complete allegiance to the GOP.

“My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused” – Lucy Flores, Democratic politician from Nevada, he wrote last year, recalling his terrifying encounter with the predatory Biden. “The Vice President of the United States of America had just touched me in an intimate way that was reserved for close friends, family or romantic partners – and I felt like I couldn’t do anything about it.”

Neither Molinari nor any of the other “Republicans” featured at the DNC – including former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman – made any mention of the disturbing accusations against Biden. Instead, the Whitmans chose to damage their credibility by indulging in liberal fantasies and attacking the president’s strongest electoral feature: his monumental economic record.

“It’s not about that [being] Republican or Democrat, it’s about the person. A person decent enough, stable enough, strong enough to get our economy back on track,” he added. he said Christine Todd Whitman, ignoring the fact that President Trump has already engineered one historic economic recovery, taking us from the stupor of the Obama-Biden years to the record prosperity we achieved until the coronavirus pandemic emerged in China, and is now in the process of making history again , leading a V-shaped post-pandemic recovery.

Just last month our country in addition as many as 1.8 million jobs, which exceeded expectations for the third month in a row. Since May, the U.S. economy has recovered more than 9 million jobs, the fastest rate of sustained job creation in American history.

Meg Whitman made a similarly absurd claim, claiming that Donald Trump has “no idea” how to run the US economy, while Joe Biden does. As a successful businesswoman, Whitman surely realizes that Biden’s big-government agenda of massive tax increases and overbearing regulations would nip our nascent economic recovery in the bud. As a reasonably well-informed American citizen, she is certainly aware that our country’s experience over the last 20 years directly contradicts her theses. As a swamp creature, she has no qualms about ignoring it all and saying whatever she thinks the audience wants to hear.

President Trump has apparently kept his word – swamp creatures are abandoning the GOP in droves and flocking to the Democratic Party. Now the American people can finally see these so-called “Republicans” for what they really are – sleazy political opportunists willing to say and do anything to advance their own interests.
